Everyone who's alive knows that the real reason that this was put on the ballot was to stop GAYS AND LESBIANS from adopting, it had nothing to do with the children at all!
@vidhead85 what wrong in not allowing gays and lesbians from adopting especially when there is so much stigma attached to their lifestyle every where except canada, If its possible to protect children from this stigmatization I think its the right steps taken by the state. MAy be it can be considered when the stigma attatched with the gay community no longer exists.
@G41MCombo I don't think I understand you completely. Are you suggesting that gays and lesbians should adopt when it is no longer an issue and the stigma is dead? In that case, blacks and whites wouldn't be able to marry STILL and gay couples would never have rights. What has to happen is powering through the stigma, nothing changes a mind faster than seeing what gays go through and deal with firsthand

The argument is valid because kids get picked on for something else...I was raised by straight parents and I got teased because I was a fat kid. And they are getting picked on for none of their fault but because they were handed over by the state to the a gay couple. Its like the state has imposed a stigma on the kids knowingly. It is biologically not possible for gays to have a family and we all know the reason. Complete information has to be provided to the kid about what is being gay and why is a stigma attached
with their adopting parents. Let the kid make the decision to be raised in a gay family or not rather than the state imposing to a life of shame to be inducted in a gay family only because the gays want to have a family like every body else.

All they wanted was a healthy straight kid but they got a faggot their bad luck, just imagine the disappointment felt by your parents.
