  • Great playing! I understand your choice for an electrical piano, but I would have chosen for a grand piano and a locked room. I am trying to find the sheet music for 1/2 pianos or the one you are using. Any tips where I could buy it online? Thanks!

  • @joljols

well if i had a grand piano and a locked room (and neighbours who dont get annoyed after 1h of playing) i would have totally chosen that as well.

i can also send you this score via e-mail. it contains some minor mistakes (which is probably the reason it isn't sold anywhere). another option: buy the original score and play the first 2 pianos at the same time. (and that is basically the same as in the score i have)

  • @whauk Yes that would be great if you could sent it to me via e-mail! I already have the version for 4 piano's. Will get back to you with some additional questions if I am a little bit further in the piece ;) Thanks again.

Ps: now downloading your video to enjoy on my ipod for on the road

  • why electric piano? why that fast? why that panick sound, why that rushing? Why not decrescendo, crescendo? why not alternate staccato and legato?

  • @dvd101e

electric piano: i wont find a calm place for 2 hours so i recorded it digitally. speed: i like it that fast and its comfortable. just my interpretation. rushed would imply that i change my tempo but i think its pretty solid. modulation: disagree (e.g. 1:09:24). articulation: it might be a problem that i used so much reverberation that the difference disappeared. i guess my feeling for the resulting effect is unincisive and i didnt care about it. thx for pointing this out

  • @zillionz funny how clueless people tends to give advice. do at least check this piece's score and what he is playing, first.

  • Prachtig gespeeld. Iemand die meer dan 2u piano kan spelen op dit niveau verdient alle respect!

  • what ur doin with ur left hand is fine... i think ur just randomly stabbing at keys with ur right hand

  • @zillionz and i think you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

  • @whauk listen, i commend you for your playing... but you manage to make every movement sound exactly the same... panicked and rushed... i bet ur a heck of a lot better when ur not recording urself. listen, no disrespect... you've got the skills. but ur timing, and hence your impact on your audience, is a bit off. let someone else record you when you're playing. i give you my hand. you're good, but with some guidance you could be great

  • @zillionz

every movement sounds exactly the same? disagree: look at for example 1:09:24-1:10:58 (very big crescendo). maybe you heard lots of slower renditions so this one now sounds "rushed". i agree that my tempo is a bit faster but this is the most comfortable speed for my fingers. timing is off? please specify. i heard every note at the correct point in time. my father actually started the camera and the audio recording software. so whats the difference with s/o else recording me?

  • I think it´s a perfect performance, beautifully executed. I know other versions by professionals very well and this one is just great!
