  • i love how everyone thinks they're the greatest chess player because they know that en passant exists and thinks that everyone else overlooks it. The point is to win, not stalemate, so en passant is terrible.

  • I had never seen this before. Too rare to be useful, but it is always nice to learn something new. Very nice video!

  • Thanks man, I really took something from this game, I am going to go and get me a copy of that book!

    Thanks again!

  • Wow, this was really surprising!

  • en passant?

  • time => 2:14 b5 pawn can capture a5 pawn on a6 square.

  • True, it can capture "en passant" but it results in stalemate as has already been said.

  • i think tha kingd2 instead of kc3 also wins.the difficult move is rook a1.nice video

  • Tricky, I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks. Nice Job

  • Great video i liked it and of course liked most the move Ra1!!! very nice

  • thanks, that was neat

  • Oh that's beautiful, very very nice

  • yeah but then he wouldnt check after promotion.

  • Hey man, near at 2:16, can't white capture the black pawn with "en passant"?

  • Yes, but that results in stalemate.

  • You don't have to take the pawn if a la pase or en passant happens. If White had taken the black pawn, it would have been stalemate

  • Excellent video - well done!

  • Great study :)

Maybe the classic pawn-break theme next time?

a7,b7,c7 vs a5,b5,c5. This theme proved very usefull in many endgames I had..
