does the battery cause this problem...???

as I've remove the battery and now it doesn't show the rebuilding part..

this sucks, not it wont even turn on when i plug it in, it just keeps making noises :(

@megadethdan The noise is like a clik clik clik..? it could be the hard drive it's trying to read data. it happen's when the mother board is broken so the only solution is buy a new one. in ebay ther is one for $59.

If you plug the zen to the computer and starts blinking a blue light at the top just leave it for 2 hours conected, after that it will turn on.

I don't know if you already fix it but if you don't try this:

plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch for 30 seconds in the on position, then trigger the reset button whitout release the on position-.

i have the same problem with my creative zen MX. i can get it to load to the computer otherwise i can just barely get it to turn on.

ow! i'm having the same problem guys.. i can't turn it ON now.. i relly don't know how to fix it.. huhuh... does anybody know how to? thank you so much!

THat happend to me. I don't know if you already solve the problem, but this is what i did.

I open my zen and disconnect the battery. Then I connected again and it works :D

You can open it with and screwdriver. But be careful, the screws are really really small.

i deleted te firmware on mine and it wont go past the reset screen thing. that was like half a year ago and now the screen wont even light up. im currently dissasembeling it.

let the battery drain completely over a couple months then hold reset for about 30 seconds, i had the same problem until i did that.

you need to disassemble it and se if there is crap inside it or anything and then reassemble it. :)

Never heard of this strange problem.

Have you tried resetting your player? Then delete the firmware and reload it using the recovery menu.

@davinp have done that too. still reads as a firmware problem. what next?
