The two handed operation, while safer in theory, keeps you from being able to stabilize odd-shaped logs. Good cycle speed, nice blade adjustment, questionable build strength and splitting power. That push plate looks thin and the slides aren't very beefy. Might be fine for light duty with straight grain wood but get into a frozen red oak notch and see how well it does.
