im a girl, but i really want to tone..is this workout only for guys?
i dont want to gain bulky muscles though..just want to tone my abs coz i have a fat tummy and fat arms...LOL but im not overweight..and i havent exercised or work out before, do u think i can do this? and how much was it? also i saw some people using equipments like pull ups, are those included when i buy this?
@bLuebhErie Yeah this program will work for you. They have different versions too, one being a lean version which sounds like something that might fit your goals better. But the normal version will work too. Just doo high repetitions on each exercise. The equipment you will probably need is a yoga mat, pull up bar, and resistance bands/weights. Good Luck

@soul4asoul I am not sure of my weight at the beginning. I didn't weigh myself unfortunately. Anyway, if you follow the program including the diet u will get amazing results. It really works. As for supplements, I used Gold Standard Whey protein and Jack3d as a pre-work out supplement. Hope that helps.
@activeandvalsurfown I followed the level 2 diet plan from the nutritional guide, it has a calculator in there to determine which level will work best for you. I think that is how i decided...but i was intaking about 2200 calories a day
@SurfStefGoldCoast Yeah i havent dont insanity but i have heard it is intense and i think it is more about fat loss and no muscle gain. Not that P90X is focused primarily on muscle gain, but i think there is more resistance training, pull ups, and push ups involved

@SuveneerGuitar Also try lowering the amount of cardio you do. instead of doing a full plyo video just do one set of each cycle, and opt for a stretching day instead of doing kenpo X. this way you will burn less calories throughout the week, letting you have more to fuel your muscle growth
P.S. Don't forget to sleep at least 8 hours so your muscles can rebuild while you sleep
@SuveneerGuitar If you want to bulk up forget about p90x. I'm not gonna say you cant gain on that program, you can definitely add on some muscle with it especially with a few modifications but when it comes down to it there are much more efficient ways to bulk up. IF you really want to get bigger your best bet by far is the Starting Strength program by Mark Rippetoe or the stronglifts program combined with getting in a ton of calories like 3000+

@oscar16478 Thanks Man! I did the classic, the only change i made was i replaced yoga with cardio X after the first month because yoga was too boring, but yoga has its benefits it just wasnt for me tho.
You should start training at the gym after this. You would gain some good mass and that in turn would make you look even more ripped.
