Saw Johnny at Northrope Auditorium in Minnesota the very first time he ever played in the state...Tommy Shannon on Bass...Johnny played thru 4 Fender Twin Reverbs wide open...!!! Absolutely AMAZING...!!!...kept the local music scene buzzing for months......

@barkbarkbarkbarkable I believe it . I've loved this mans playing a very long time. I bought a TWIN before I was a fan. Then found he used 4 to 5 Twins with And . By 82 he had switched to just one Music Man HD 130 w 2 12 EV's . I had made the switch from Twin to HD 130 & then a roadie that came to work with me after coming off the road with Johnny told me "this is what Johnny uses except with EV's and Johnny doesn't mic it ". What ? No not even in 2000 seat halls .

a sadly underrated album. Sone of JW's best work is on Winter of 88, IMO.
