Wow---What a Memory. 16 years old. Drinkin and Smokin weed. people passed out laying around...........fire hoses wetting us down.... Crazy times. Look what the cat dragged in....trip
I was at this show which was in 1987, 1986 was the year Van Halen (5150 tour) with Sammy Hagar closed. Hagar got a hold of one of the fire hoses and almost lost control of it spraying the lights. Went from 1983-1988 and they were ALL great! HOT, VERY HOT (1985 was in August if I remember right)! but worth it!
We would show up the night before and party all night in the parking lots!
I met the drummer muzz last sunday. i saw him perform w/ BeatleJuice & i got to interview him for a article i am writing in my journalism class. it was pretty sick!
I was in the front and stayed there for the whole show. I was about 17 years old back then, and it was HOT as hell! The crowd keep swaying back and fourth and at points I was lifted off my feet and carried 5 to 10 feet from left to right.
The Texas Jam was always some of the BEST times in my life! I went to all of them except for one. Long live the Jam!!
Damn good performance and the song grooved! I almost wish Perry stayed with the Project and Charlie and David stayed too! I wore needles out on that record (I've Got The Rock'n'Rolls Again). Charlie never got the push he deserved... sooo much better than any of the hair bands in the 80's & is just such a friggin Pro!
i agree. seen farrenheit @the living room in providence. good live band. no promos killed them. i also love the "rock n rolls again". dirty little things
I was at that show too. I remember they were like the 2nd band on, maybe the 1st. Craziest concert I've ever been too. People passing out in the afternoon heat and being sprayed with the water hoses. I was about 10 rows back from the front of the stage getting shoved around constantly the entire fricking day.

Yea. It got pretty rough up at the front. I think that was the hottest day in texas history, at least it felt like it on the floor of the cotton bowl
