WOW. He is rocking this out with hot rods. Man I try playing with hot rods and I sound like I am playing with two big rubber mallots.  I knew I liked his drumming but he is now my new favorite drummer. I still cannot believe how smooth he is. JUST AWESOME. Yes the smoke alarm was funny as I have that problem as well in my basement.

I've met chad a few times (I live by Wilkes-Barre where they're based out of) and he's one of the most helpful and chill drummers out there. He actually does tell you things about how to get better because he really wants drummers to get better as a whole. Great musician and a great person.

Who the hell gave this video a thumbs down? Honestly, Chad is probably one of the coolest drummers out there in rock music. Not the greatest but definitely my favorite in the way he plays in a jazz/funk kind of way (where most drummers just do simple stuff). I played this song on drums and I get this kick ass feeling every time.

Actually hes had a zil for a while. He puts it on the crash over his 10" rack tom. There is a vid from 2 years ago that shows it on his kit.

You're absolutely right about the styles thing. I listen to all kinds, rock, pop, RnB, fusion, latin, you name it! IMO it broadens the view on drumming, and the approach to play a groove that fits a song.
