Youtube has a flood of 6 year old super stars hitting pads. I've seen maybe one get in the ring and spar.

Every fighter knows it happens in sparring. I've seen some guys look pretty on the bag and pads, get in the ring to spar and all the pretty skills is out the window.

I hate the speed bag the most. Guys come in of the street and hit the speed bag like there Ali, but can't spar for 60 seconds if theres lives depended on it.

and the point to pads is to train their strength / agility / stamina. probably better at fighting than any other 6 year old without training.
