  • This guy can recruit, but if they don't do it for that 1 year, his players generally end up leaving. This year is no different, and although Knight, and Jones haven't signed with agents, I am wondering why they are leaving so soon? I would advise anyone to stay, just because it may be a lockout, but some guys have various financial issues they want to address so I understand. They have a good class coming in, but I know UK fans have to be concerned about the players he recruits.

  • AWESOME FRICKIN VID, FROM A HOLLER IN HARLAN KENTUCKY :) THATS ME

  • Kentucky is my home team! They were good with John Wall and the others but now,I hardly don't like them.

  • @MegaMoneyMan99 And why? Kentucky basketball is like nothing else! Been to rupp lately? haha

  • @kinneyboy90 Yeah we are a pretty good team!

  • GO CATS. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes Kentucky probably should have won it all but they weren't expected to. Kansas was and they got humiliated early. As much as the Big Blue Nation wanted a National Championship, we should have known the inexperience would eventually come back to bite us. I mean, really. How many teams win National Championships with that many freshman starters?

  • 0:53 nice (:

  • I haven't commented on this for awhile. I guess all these hate comments are expected, as any time a sports video is posted, nothing but hate comments and spam are returned. Anyway, we still have this year. Only a few months until November.

  • wow we clobbered teams in the tourney up to WVU due to a really bad off night if you watch the dam game. Look at the shooting in the first 3 games and then the WVU game and see WVU weren't even contesting shots and uk still missed. It was literally the worst shooting night of their season and they lost by only 7. if they play 9 out of 10 games most likely uk will win, however, one game could change it all and it did happen.

  • More like Calipari gets recruits. K pays off refs.

  • @GreenDay1981 by "K" do you mean kentucky?

  • @IStartedroflcakes K as in Mr. "My last name sounds nothing like how it's spelled". That little rat-faced crybaby that whores himself out to promote Dook every chance he gets.

  • Calipari get recruits, coach K wins titles

  • Blocked from this most likely by the UKwildcatTV, because the truth hurts. How about Fab Five from Michigan State who got to the final game before Duke clobbered them. Repeat lack of teamwork caused losses, that and poor coaching.

  • @rkcaughman but didn't the fab five get in trouble and had to vacate two seasons??? and it was Michigan not Michigan State

  • @69fatwhitechick you are correct about the college. The Fab five reached the finals of the NCAA championship their freshman and sophomore years. Kentucky now has the distinction of having five, repeat five, repeat five first round draft choices and choking their way out of the final four, let alone the championship game. Only lack of serious teamwork and poor coaching can lead to that kind of non performance from athletes at that level. Any other coach in American would have won it all.

  • @rkcaughman and the Fab Five were all seniors and juniors, Kentucky had mostly Freshmen and Sophmores

  • @69fatwhitechick That's kind of odd seeing as how C-Webb left after his Soph. year, and since they came in together.....the other 4 were in their 2nd year as well, right? As a Michigan fan, I know my team, but on another note....what's the name of this song?

  • @jejesdad i'm a dumbass. lol after watching the fab five i've learned alot

  • 2010 kentucky wildcats could have been a Dynasty if they stayed

  • I see where Kentucky is losing five of their nine High School All Americans to the NBA draft. The only team in the history of NCAA basketball to have a team made up of HS All Americans unable to reach the final four. Repeat my observation that only poor coaching and lack of teamwork makes this failure possible as any other school in america with that amount of talent would have gone undefeated.

  • @rkcaughman You are full of shit. You honestly think a team that had 4 freshman in the starting lineup would have gone undefeated? Yeah right. It's amazing they made it as far as they did. How many teams with that many freshman starters have ever gone that far in the tournament? Who are you a fan of anyway?

  • @rkcaughman Is that all you can do is come on here and hate on a team that deserved and should have gone to the final four but had an off night that ruined that opportunity? Jealously really is a bad thing, makes morons like you open your mouths and speak without thinking...

  • @moparful99 repeat again that ANY other coach in America would have won the National Championship with that level of talent. I don't hate Kentucky at all, the fact remains that the team with far and away the best talent couldn't advance into the final four. You are correct moparful99 Kentucky deserved more that a final four appearance, they absolutely should have won it but a combination of lack of teamwork and sorrowful coaching did them in.

  • @rkcaughman Kansas had equally as much talent and fell short 2 games EARLIER than Kentucky. Are you crucifying Bill Self over that?? I guess that means Bill Self couldn't have coached that Kentucky team to a Final Four either, huh? Coaches are way overrated in this game. Frankly, because of the single elimination format of the tournament, the best team doesn't always win it all. You need to check in with reality from time to time...it might serve you well.

  • @ajgree6 hey dude i haven't crucified anyone. Teams choke all the time and they choked in that game. After playing 30 games you are no longer playing like a freshman, good grief the very next game they would have played they would have been sophomores. Of course they went to the pros. I blamed the coaches, not the players, for the choke, and I saw the game on tv. Kansas did not, repeat did not have that level of talent. Just relax dude, chill out, and accept the fact they should have won.

  • @rkcaughman Sorry, dude. I don't really think you know much about college basketball judging by your comments. The last team to go undefeated was Indiana in 1976. There have been many good teams since then so why hasn't one gone undefeated since then?? There are so many more teams who can compete, a larger tournament bracket and parity. This is a much more competitive era of college basketball, which is why we haven't had an undefeated team in OVER 40 years. Go showcase your ignorance elsewhere.

  • @ajgree6 thank you for showcasing your unerring ignorance, and the fact remains that Kentucky should have won it all in the tournament. As far as undefeated teams I agree with you, it is very difficult to go undefeated but with that highest level of talent of any team and they simply choked. Does everyone like you have to take s**t so personally. Chill out, Mr. Know It All. The fact remains they choked, and big time.

  • @rkcaughman Parity exists in the sport. I'm a die-hard UK fan and I would have loved to have seen them win it all but, unlike you, I actually watched that UK vs. WVU game and what I saw wasn't a "choke job." What I saw was a young team (freshman and sophomores as you correctly said) having a bad shooting night. Make 2 or 3 more threes instead of 2-25 shooting than it's on to play Duke and that Kentucky team would have been a terrible match up for Duke. Who, on Duke, would have guarded John Wall?

  • @rkcaughman What bothers me more than your incredible ignorance is that you act like bowing out early in the tournament voids out any achievements made prior to that. Again, I'll ask, since Kansas was knocked out 2 games prior to Kentucky (yet were the favorites all year) do you consider them "choking?" It's really hard to win a Championship. That's why if you see teams win it with some frequency, it's done with the same players. Kentucky fans are proud of that 35-3 season, without a ring.

  • @rkcaughman Sorry we disappointed you and couldn't win you a championship. I know we owed YOU one. We'll win one for you soon and you can come on to that highlight video and tell us that we didn't win it by a great enough margin.

  • What a great season it was. Too bad UK didn't make it to the championship, they were definitely the best team in the tournament. There was only 1 possible way we could lose: If we shot horribly from 3. And that's what happened. We didn't have a huge go-to guy from 3, except Bledsoe and Dodson, and they are both up-and-down from 3. Against WVU, they were both down. UK would have destroyed Duke or Butler, but it is too bad we didn't make it there. I guess Duke does deserve the title, though.

  • GREAT VIDEO!

  • Thank you for this and let me respond to if you don't like Kentucky basketball don't respond to the posts. We just take exception to this "Magical" year this team had. Great year, maybe, good year, yep, magical, NOPE, even with nine HS all americans. Any other coach and team would never have lost a game, period.

  • @DaHustler28 Thank you for your spam.

  • @UKwildcatTV someone is super smart.

  • hahaha, gayest video ever. only reason i watched it was just to laugh, if you believed kentucky was gonna win it all no sir, go duke!

  • fuck west virgina dis was our year

  • @kingjayp93 it obviously wasnt your year if ya fucking losers lost, hahaha pussies!!!!

  • @DaHustler28 duke ass wacth ya'll choke

  • haha, we aint gonna choke. kentucky choked and you see where there that now. watching the final four while duke is playing in the final four

  • nice video man... not a big fan of sum 41 though but oh well.. your highlights are concentrated on the early season games... any plans to make a longer video with more highlights from late in the season?

  • check out my music lemme know waht ya'll think...

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

rate comment subscribe do whatever ya gotta do.

  • good ridance, now i don't have to listen to all those idiot ky fans that blame every loss on somebody except themselves, you would think that the refs were on everybody's payroll except theirs. wildcats suck. duke forever. see you in 2.1 seconds.

  • If you hate UK, don't watch my videos. Idiot.

  • @bigjohn5599 Of course Dook fans never have to complain about the refs. They are always on their side. It's a proven fact. 1998, bitch.

  • GO BIG BLUE !

i hope we can get one more year with patrick, bledsoe, cousin and of coarse Wall

  • So do I man, but it is almost official that all of them you just listed are leaving (including Orton)

  • @UKwildcatTV i wish wall wasnt leaving he is the best one on that team to me he is and i wish i could teach me some of his basketball skills cause i play basketball and im in the 5th grade

  • Yea, I don't know anybody who thinks Kentucky is terrible...so you are definitely misinformed there. And Wall is a beast we all know it, but I don't know if he's gonna make an "immediate" impact in the NBA. After all he's no Lebron. As for Cousins, his crybaby ways are gonna get him dominated! He can't handle that pressure this early either. I think Wall was right to go, Cousins was definitely wrong to go.

  • KU is Kansas smart one.

  • Have to agree with the individual who posted this, THE GREATEST YEAR EVER in Kentucky Basketball. Nine HS all americans and they made it to the sweet sixteen, pure magic, just pure magic. Although at least four other better teams (lower seeds, mostly) made it to the final four and will gain the 2010 National

Championship THIS year is owned by the Kentucky, Nine HS All Americans, who almost did, but didn't, but claim it anyway. Typical Wildcat thinking.

  • dam freshman, they are so cocky.

  • mistake me if im wrong or something . but yesterday i was flippin thru channels n on one of the espn channels they were vs cornell? wasnt that a semifinal match?

  • UK = No win over WV = No final four = No championship = disappointment = forgotten

  • yeah that sucks man, but they're only freshmen

  • Also, if Memphis is a crappy school then why do that have the best players in the country coming next year.

  • Comment removed

  • @Drewsykes2010 Yeah, that has to be why Derrick Rose left. Can't be because he was the #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. Wow are you stupid. You have spelling issues too.

  • haha Kentucky hey at leasst u guys can LOVE YOUR COUSINS out there LOL Calipari is the DEVIL u guys wont win wit that snake

  • they r better off not winning who wants 2hang a banner and have 2 take it down 2 years later? Calipari is a weasel and highly overrated. Fuck him, all U.K. fans and the non english speaking rejects that buckled Sat. Might want 2 stay another year and polish your skills plus u dont want 2 take a paycut . U can't buy love but u can buy a spot in the final 8. They folded, buckled, wilted against W.V. and I loved every minute of it.

  • Calipari missed up 2 college programs, Memphis and UMass. How is he still coaching? I don't have a problem with Kentucky or the players just Calipari. Kentucky fans better watch out for for him. Most likely he is doing the same thing over there just like the year he was at Memphis. GO Tigers.

  • @Drewsykes2010 You're just jealous coach cal left crapass memphis to go to one of the most legendary basketball programs of all time.

  • @Drewsykes2010 So Calipari was the one who took money from an agent? Calipari was the one who cheated on an SAT test? Didn't think so. Shut the fuck up, you misinformed retard.

  • It is most definitely a year to remember for the KY Wildcats. I don't think West Virginia has ever beat that ass so bad. Not only did they wax KY and john wall's dumbass dance moves but they also have won 10 games in a row along with winning the Big East. better luck next year KY

  • look at 0.50 isnt tht a travelling?

  • i think he dibbled with his left or alittle bit and we couldnt see cuz of his body blocking it

  • A great video

  • SONG NAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE please dude

  • with me - sum 41

  • Song Name?

  • with me - sum 41

  • This is a great video (= thanks!

    Go Big Blue! (=

  • great vid, thanks!

  • i took me a while to understand the call me thing

  • Somehow, DeMarcus Cousins' phone number was leaked out on the internet. After that, he received thousands of racist messages from Mississippi State Fans/Students. After that, he came up with the "Call Me" to taunt them. HILARIOUS!

  • I'm gonna miss Cousins, he was my fave.

  • o ok thanks for explaining that i thought it was his way of saying he pwned the guy he dunked on.

  • Wall gone after next year.

  • Wall gone to be a millionaire in the NBA. At least think about the good side!

  • He can recruit..... to BAD he can't coach!!

  • You're kidding right?

  • @vols2988 Yeah, a 35-3 record clearly means he can't coach. You know what a bad coach does? Gets his ass kicked by 29 in the SEC Tournament.

  • @GreenDay1981 I live in Memphis I watched him coach for 9 years.. he can recruit.. he cant coach... why didnt memphis win the national championship.. up by 9 with 2 min. to go ... all they had to do was foul... but nope dumb coaching let Kansas come back and shoot a game winning 3 when all they had to do was foul!! watched em for 9 years.. the guy cant win the big one!!

  • @vols2988 Funny. I could say the same thing about Bruce Pearl. What has he won?

  • @GreenDay1981 He isnt a big name coach like Calaperi.. But the vols never made it to the sweet 16 before him never made it to the elite 8 before him he is comin along as a coach.... the thing about Calaperi is that he is always going to have young talent that goes 1 year and out.. seen it for 9 years..isnt ganna happen under Calaperi!!

  • @GreenDay1981 He isnt a big name coach like Calaperi.. • @vols2988 Wrong. Tennessee reached the Sweet 16 3 times before Pearl took over: 1967, 1981 and 2000.

  • It was a great year...and it's just the beginning.

  • Could you remove the blue text box in the upper left of the video? It's fine showing it in the beginning, but it's pretty distracting (and unnecessary) for the rest of it. Other than that, I enjoyed the highlights. John Wall is so fun to watch.

  • @CeilingF4n dude just remove the annotation

  • Removed.

  • You dont even make the final four and its a year to remember? How about a year to forget Lets hope knight brings back everything you guys are going to lose with the departure of Jwall. And yes Knight will be a Cat when its all said and done. What happened to the Wildcats striving for bball excellence, instead we get this rubbish celebrating a failed run in the tourney. Only losers celebrate losses.

  • Do you think I really care? Do you think any Kentucky fan actually cares? So we lost in the Elite 8. It was a heartbreaker, yes, but one heck of a year. If you don't like it, don't watch this.

  • Thats what im sayinq..

People always down talk Michigan State, and im wonderinq why.. a bunch of great athletes dont deserve to get talked about like tht, ecspecially by ppl who live to hate others.

  • @kagetaken You're a dumbass. So you're saying George Mason was foolish to celebrate the year they went to the Final Four? There are 64 teams that make failed runs in the NCAA Tournament (I'm counting the play-in game, by the way). If your team went from NIT one year to Elite 8 the next, you'd be celebrating too. Who is your team anyway?

  • Kentucky this year was a team with fantastic talent, but Calipari let them down during their last game. They were pretty awesome at everything but shooting threes, but Calipari allowed them to take 32. You really have to control your team in that situation

  • They were wide open that's something that Calipari can't control. Lets run the dribble drive against a 2,1,2 zone thats always workslolololol

  • Great season and if the future NBA superstars stayed back 1 more year they would win a championship easily

  • I'm not UK fan.. I'm a Big Tennessee fan but I do give respect where it is due...I'm glad UK has 3 players who will be in the NBA next year because if they stayed around they would possibly go undefeated next season...just think the talent they'd have if they stuck around for 4 yrs..Dynasty?

  • Michiqan State will qo all the wayy!

    SPartans Babyy!!..

    bUT BIq ups to UK!!

They did there thinq, but the Freshman came out..

    Maybe next year. (:

  • no championship and its still a year to remember um ok

  • They had a good season, John Wall!!!!!!

  • They deserve every bit of this.

  • Spoken like a true loser.

  • Great Video.. well done

  • Ill be straight im a WVU fan and i hope we take it all this year, but UK is a very tough team and that was one of the best games ive seen in a while. i look forward to see them play WVU again!

  • Wow, I am in shock. A West Virginia fan who doesn't come on here and trash UK! Thanks for actually having class, unlike almost everyone else who has commented on here... and congratulations on going to the Final 4.

  • boy i sure am proud to be from Kentucky these boys sure made me proud

  • Just think when Coach Cal gets Knight and if bledsoe comes back they will good again

  • HOW 'BOUT THEM MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!

  • well will be back next year wildcats don't worry about it. Thank you UK for the great season.

  • LMAO cheater sighted!! way to make a hightlight video of professional players who have never seen the inside of a classroom beating up on sorry basketball teams... better luck next year cheaters...

  • Just for your information, John Wall has a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.

  • Just for your information, GPA means absolutely nothing. I don't know anything about John Wall and he may be a genius, but GPA doesn't say anything about how smart the kid is. What is his major? What classes does he take? Sure I have a 4.0 in public speaking and even calculus, but how about in chemistry where the avg test score is 50% on a multiple choice test where there is only 4 choices, and there is the one a-hole who gets a 98%? I doubt he would be the kid setting curve.

  • If you hate UK, then why are you watching this? Absolutely pointless.

  • @UKwildcatTV

What are you talking about? Who said I hated UK? Dumbass

  • Lol. ppl who know nothinq about basketball call Michiqan State a UNderDoq, are you serious?!

I mean, me beinq a sports fan, i conqratulate every athlete, wich i am a athlete.. i enjoy watchinq them all play, too many people come to hate and talk shit.

  • Butler is your underdog here. Michigan State may not have had the best year, but when it comes tournament time, they show up.

  • @BMason3604 GPA means nothing??? I can't believe you even just said that. If it meant nothing, why do Ivy League schools look at GPA when determining who to accept?

  • @GreenDay1981

I am talking about college dumb fuck. In high school, people applying to college usually have the same curriculum (same math science etc). In college, students take way different classes than other students. To get a 4.0 gpa really means either you are a genius, or you are taking easy classes. You have to get a 97-100% in most classes to get a 4.0, which is nearly impossible in harder courses like biology and chemistry. Premed with 3.5gpa is way harder than a 4.0 in bullshit.

  • @BMason3604 I'm sorry you think everyone who attends college should take hard classes they have no interest in. I don't know what classes Wall was taking but who cares if it wasn't biology or chemistry. How many college courses are only a year long?

  • @GreenDay1981

Wtf is ur problem ur so fucking stupid. I never said to take hard classes dumb ass. I am just trying to prove that gpa doesn't mean shit. A 4.0 does not mean you are good in school, because you can get a 4.0 very easy if you take the right classes. Wall is only in school for 1 yr, so he is probably taking the very easiest/meaningless classes he can. Athletes also get extra help like mandatory study groups, tutors, etc. I'm just saying 4.0 has no credibility.

  • @BMason3604 Players take courses they are most interested in. Who cares if they're easy or hard? Wall said he wants to stay at Kentucky long enough to get a degree. That's good enough for me. He's got his head on straight and that's all that matters.

  • Too bad they lost in the tourny....

  • 87heff is proof positive that some people will believe anything.

  • Comment removed

  • Man this was Kentucky's year to win it all but damn yall can keep coach cal. Ha nothing makes me happier than seeing you thieving bastards lose and if you ever do win a national championship, some recruiting violation coach cal committed will come out so have fun with that

  • Thank you.

  • I haven't been a huge UK basketball fan since 2001 or so, but this year revitalized my love for the Cats. Thank you to all the players for a great year, no matter where you are next year. Yes, we could have gotten farther in the tournament, but damn, what a ride! Can't wait for next season!

  • People are gonna believe whatever they want or what the media tells them about Calipari because they are that gullible. They will believe anything. If Cal had anything to do with what happened at UMASS and Memphis, he wouldn't be coaching to this day. You really think after the debacle with Eddie Sutton, Kentucky would take a risk on Calipari if he had something to do with those vacated seasons? Why should he be blamed for the stupidity of his players? He's not their dad.

  • WIN!

  • too bad most people won't remember this season after they get their wins vacated. Go Mountaineers!

  • Very funny.

  • @wvchild I bet Huggins doesn't really remember getting behind the wheel of a car while he was intoxicated. Oh, and I don't recall our student section ever getting reprimanded for conduct during a game. Yours has.

  • this is a great video! Kentucky will never be forgotten from 2009-2010. They were the best theres no doubt about that. They had an incredible team. YEAH KENTUCKY!

  • nice vid, but whats up with the music? you need somethin to make it hype! it's not like UK basketball is dead now that the season is over

  • My original song was Time of Your Life by Green Day, but it was removed because of copyright issues.

  • what is the name of the song GO BIG BLUE

  • With Me-Sum 41

  • ***SEC once again

  • calipari is a cheater , he had the best recruits and still couldnt get the job done, once again free throws n gurading the three ball prevail against a a cal team, go cards !!the big east stomps the sex once again

  • @dbatovskyjr That's funny. A Loserville fan calling OUR coach a cheater when your coach can't even keep his dick in his pants around other women.

  • Your video was done well. I think most people have a problem with Kentucky's underperformance in the tourney and not with the talent themselves. Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, and Patterson are all very good players, but most likely they are all gone once the NBA draft comes. People tend to be harsh on the 1 and done players and Calipari's isn't really doing Kentucky any favors with bringing his rep for NCAA violations with him.

  • A moment ago, Calipari said that we are more than likely to have 5 players leave for the NBA (Wall, Cousins, Patterson, Bledsoe, Orton), but we will more than likely pull off 6 new recruits (Including Knight, Kanter, and Leslie, among others.)

  • @UKwildcatTV where is the link for this?

  • I posted that wrong: Recruits are saying this, not Calipari. In other words, this is not official. I apologize.

  • @UKwildcatTV Yeah because I highly doubt Orton will be going pro this year. We've all seen him on the court, he seems like he doesn't even know what's going on. We'll lose Wall and Cousins, we'll probably pickup B. Knight to replace Wall. As far as Kanter? He said he turned down millions of dollars to play where he did but everyone else cashed in. I find this difficult to believe. If we do get Kanter, be prepared to give up our victories next season. UNC will get most wins recognition. ):

  • hold ur horses man! Bledsoe is coming back along with Orton. Don't forget about our other recruit Stacey Poole Jr. that has already signed a BEAST defender!

  • I posted that wrong. RECRUITS are saying that, not Calipari. So it is not official. However, recruits are saying that bledsoe and orton are leaving more than likely. Orton, in my opinion, is not ready, however NBA scouts judge my potential, not by how ready they are. Also, many experts predict that Bledsoe will be drafted in the lottery.

  • Also, Selby

  • OH you will remember this season alright. With old Cal there to rip your program up, Kentucky won't be the same for a long time. Should have never dumped Tubby

  • ...you're kidding, right?

  • Tubby?? lol

  • Under Calipari, Memphis had their 2007-2008 season of 38-2 vacated...

**Memphis had its entire 2007-08 season vacated by the NCAA due to academic fraud.

  • from one player...Rose...you really think Cal knew that another guy was taking Rose's SAT for him???

  • Rose was originally cleared eligible by the NCAA. However, the NCAA changed their mind and ruled him ineligible. Regardless, I could care less. Whether or not he is a "Cheater", I will always respect him because he is everything that you could ask for and much more.

  • Calipari had UMASS sitting at 31-1...

    * UMass had its 4-1 record in the 1996 NCAA tournament and Final Four standing vacated after Marcus Camby was ruled ineligible.

  • Bledsoe, Cousins and Wall leaving for NBA reports CBS. Patterson considering departure too.

  • Kentucky blew it, but they'll be there again next year...good season

  • If the NCAA madates it's new 40% graduation rate rule nine teams in the tourney this year would not have qualified including UK and Cal. This is coming big schools so get ready.

  • In 2006 and 2008, Memphis earned a #1 seed in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. In 2008, Calipari's Tigers advanced to the national championship game, their first under his leadership. They also won 38 games, the most regular-season wins in NCAA history. His team, however, would lose to the Kansas Jayhawks 7568 in overtime. This team would later have its entire season record vacated by the NCAA due to several violations.
