Looks like the BBC has finally increased the special effects budget for Dr. Who. Are the new DH shows being broadcast in the US, the last Doctor I saw was #5 and I think they're on #9 or 10 now? Hmmm, what happens when he reaches regeneration #11?
Yep, they're on the 10th Doctor now. Canonically, a Time Lord has 13 lives, so he has three regenerations to go -- 10 to 11, 11 to 12, 12 to 13. After that, there's always random technobabble miracle solutions. The Master managed to get 16+ lives, after all.
