  • is the second pipe stanwell 15? My favorite pipe is stanwell relief 15.

  • hi from london

  • Nothing like Irish Flake in an old Peterson Pre-republic or patent era pipe...a real trip back in time.

  • You look absolutely beautiful smoking that pipe, makes you look truly artsy and elegant... sexy too

  • damn! I have been wanting to add Peterson Irish Sea pipes to my collections. Can't find any though... that and their green spray spigot pipes

  • check out sterlingtobacco. com for a free sample od some great tobacco

  • If you're going for second pipe i'd recommend the Savinelli Miele slightly bent

  • I love Petersons Sunset Breeze, it smells like lickerish, its my favourite as it is for a lot of new pipe smokers like myself, loverly.

I do have trouble identifying the taste of various tobaccos though.

  • sterling tobacco co produces some outstanding blends they will also send a very ampel free sample of your choice

  • The best tip that I can suggest to you is, don't use cheep pipes or cheep tobacco. I am a huge fan of Petersons concourses choice, but dont smoke it on an empty stomach. Because I always misplace my pipe tools. I have found that roofing nails work really well as a tamper and they are cheep. LOL

  • DAYENMAO

  • dunhill 965 is amazing

  • as for where to get supplies and everything, smokingpipes. dot com

  • oh lord, a pete irish sea, i saw that on smokingpipes and i wanted to cry because i couldn't afford it. as for a good tobacco, try devils holiday, it's amazing

  • I got the MB Cube and Sillem's Black today, I think I like the Sillem's more.

  • It'd be great if you smoked the two pipes at once.

  • Do you have a sister? ☺

  • Look for Kirsten Pipes (google) - they run cool and they stay lit... the design is really well thought-out. I've been using an Esquire design since the 1990s - same pipe, has lasted me over 20 years. No problems.

  • Ohw as a suggestion, try a straight pipe instead of a bent one. And corn cob pipes are not that elegant, but great for starters.

  • ladies and pipes... could be worse..:)

  • Try Mississippi River by Seattle Pipe Club. You can get everything you need from Boswell.com.

    Jay

  • Well it is nice to see a woman smoke a pipe, I haven't seen that since I was a kid, and that was a lon, long time ago. Good on you.

I have subscribed to your site.

    alan.

  • Great pipe! I really want to try the Sunset Breeze. How did you like it?

  • Great music.

  • i say try erinmore its very good it has a great fruit taste but i say let it sit for a little bit great video.

  • What is that music playing in the background? It sounds wonderful! ;)

  • Just started smoking a pipe as well. Got myself a Peterson Killarney - 003. I bought a pack of Clan and also Condor. Not really impressed with the taste of either of these. Does anyone recommend a good tobacco.

  • Nice video and your not doing as many women do who try pipe smoking-they start with a terrible pipe. That is a nice Peterson and the pipe you bought for a boy friend is a good one as well. Jason

  • Peterson makes a great pipe....that will last forever. If you are willing to drop the money, Brebbia makes a great pipe too. I actually smoke $5.99 captain black! One you get a good char on the inside of the bowl, the bite goes away.

A pipe smoking lady for years :-)

  • Jordan Caroline:

You are the very first woman i saw smoking a pipe here in YouTube and i must say: That i'm very impressed! :) As a pipe smoker myself, i also Like Peterson Pipes and tobacco specially that Sunset Breeze. If you like aromatics, here's one REALLY GOOD blend for you as a suggestion: Try the W.O Larsen Signature Blend. This Tobacco smells a lot like Caramel tossed with Vanilla w/ strawberries. CAUTION: This Larsen blend is Addictive and must be smoked sparingly. Great video & pipe!

  • I always thought it used to be old men in the old days that smoked pipes.

I never thought there'd be a lot of young women doing it now.

  • Try a falcon pipe with captain black .

  • I'm getting my first pipe soon..i'm pretty nervous about making a video, lol. This gave me some courage. Way to go :)

  • smokingpipes-com for great bacci stock, pipes What types of blends do you like, then I can point you in right direction ie: VAPEers, Aromatics, Eng?

  • smokingpipes-com for great bacci stock, pipes

  • pete pipes are fantastic, just got a 286/p-lip zulu or dublin in red finish...Irish KNOW how to make pipes

  • ...

  • out of curiosityI did a brief internet search of famous "lady" pipe smokers and came up with the following: Elizabeth Taylor (actress, of course) Gerturde Stein (feminist) Melcent Fenwick (congerss women) Great Garbo (actress) Sophie B Hawkins (singer songwriter) Lisa Bonet (tv and Movie star) Andi Mcdowell (actress/model) Janet Jones (playboy model) Sheri Belefonti (singer/actress) So it looks as if you're in good company.

  • thirteen thousand views! thats quite a fan club. An d i thought i was the only male who thought a beautiful women smoking a pipe was sexy. When are you going to make more. Were waiting

  • @seawolfe52 I didn't realize that I had that many views! WOW! And yes I need to make a new video ASAP! But first I need more tobacco! :D

  • @J0RD4Ncaroline that is one beautiful pipe here soon i am going to start crafting my own

  • My advice:

Before spending the money on a Peterson system try a (ebay) Wellington bent.

Wellington guts are the same as the other systems and more economical.

Wallmart pipecleaners will work in a pinch.

As far as tobacco goes try a good virginia/perique if you get a chance. Solani is strong, but it should do if ou are coming from cigars.

  • you're really pretty and look amazing smoking a pipe! Love to try it myself sometime.

  • Hey I just started smoking a pipe. I got it from my dad. He Smoked "Captain Black" White package. Thats what Im smoking. Try it and tell me what you think.

  • Nice...I like the style of that Peterson.

  • Play some what? I didn't quite get that.

  • cool ,,what does the brandy spirit do to your pipe does your pipe get a good cleaning from the brandy ,,?

  • Thats one sexy pipe!

  • You're very pretty, you should make more pipe and cigar videos!

  • wow, for someone new to pipe smoking you sure are willing to drop a ton of cash!

  • @6sixpounder6 no I just have a good boyfriend. lol!

  • Good video. I am trying to get my wife to smoke a pipe :) Try Peterson's Irish Oak tobacco. The perique "hit" in the latter half of the bowl is amazing :)

  • That pipe is a beauty! Welcome to the pipe smoking community.

    Best,

    Bill

  • look here for new pipes of your love:

    stanwell-tabak-pfeife.de/f204-Arno-Vogt-verkauft.html

  • Hello,

To me, the best smoke is from a 9mm filter pipe. You should try one at least to see if it suits your taste. All my pipes are filter pipes.

    Regards,

    Guillermo

  • ur hot...

  • I own a Peterson Irish Sea 68, good pipe overall.. and i must admit that the finish is quite durable, a good choice i must say.

    p.s. welcome aboard

  • i hear white widow is really nice tobacco.

  • hey im a fairly new pipe smoker as well, so far i have tried petersons university blend, which find very light and uplifting. I have also tried 1792 flake i find to be a more "after dinner" smoke, about 2/3 through the bowl and i could definetly feel the nicotine in the pit of my stomach

  • You sound like me... going from cigars to pipes. I went from cigarettes to cigars, and am getting into pipes because I don't always have 1hr free to smoke a cigar and with a pipe I can put as much in as I want . That 2nd pipe in this vid is a beauty!

  • You sound like me... going from cigars to pipes. I went from cigarettes to cigars, and am getting into pipes because I don't always have 1hr free to smoke a cigar and with a pipe I can put as much in as I want .

  • I like you... aaaaa lot! Very sexy.

  • I like you.... aaaa lot!

  • You made me remember that i lost my pipe.lol

  • I subscribed to ya and I look forward to watching you grow in the hobby of pipe smoking. I've been a pipe smoker for over 20 years. When you check out all the videos out there in this community, it can get overwhelming. A lot are for entertainment but there's quite a few folks that know their stuff and can teach. Hopefully I'm one of those....I have quite a few tobacco reviews on my channel so go check it out and subscribe if you like it...welcome aboard!

  • You should try putting the pipe in the corner of your mouth, like where it's supposed to go. It does look a bit silly to have it straight forward.

  • @taylorsls don't be hatin! If I smoke from the Front of my mouth the smoke touches all of the 4 taste areas *sour, sweet, satly, and bitter* of my tongue. There is some tact to it, plus I do what I want no matter how silly someone THINKS it is.

  • @J0RD4Ncaroline Lol to each their own, enjoy it how you please! It just seems rather less elegant I suppose.

  • @J0RD4Ncaroline to avoid sounding like a prick. your mouth doesn't have different sections for taste, so @taylorsls is probably right

  • @taylorsls Oh jeez man. It's called "SMOKE IT HOWEVER YOU WANT!" You think she's smoking it to look good for YOU? However you're most comfortable is the BEST way to smoke a pipe.

  • @taylorsls Maybe she plays sax or clarinet. It's OK. Everyone's different.

  • A nice video and a nice pipe. Thank you.

  • Cool video. Any tobacconist will have the reemer, tamper and spoons. For your next tobacco you might like Rattray's Marlin Flake or G.L. Pease's Barbary Coast.

  • You might try a Czech pipe tool. They have a tamper, spoon and probe all on a common hinge. They can be bought for as little as 2.00 online, and any tobacconist should have some in stock. I find them quite handy, and they have a slightly steampunkish look to them that adds to their appeal, at least to me.

  • Check out smoking pipes . com. I started pipe smoking in Dec 09 and already know my tastes. Tinned are good, but Bulk is fresher. But yeah, check out that website.

  • I've been thinking about getting Sunset Breeze. But I am gonna get some Solani Sweet Mystery and CAO Cherrybomb

  • @jupiter0225 I just tried some CAO Cherrybomb, it was absolutely the worst baccy I've ever tried! It was like smoking a cherry-scented urinal puck! Just horrible. If you like cherry, go for Cherry Smash or Bear Blend, both by Boswell's.

  • you are pure class

  • Hi J0RD4Ncaroline..... we miss you. You gpoing to be making more pipe smoking videos? Thanks.... you are so cute and sexy puffing a pipe. Cheers! ;)

  • Jordan, you rock! Hah!

  • check out Boswell's pipes, the have an excellent reamer, and a variety of tools. As far as tobacco, it all depends on personal taste. You just have to find the ones you like. I like most of the things from boswell, and some other stuff that I have tried that friends have suggested. Anyway, welcome, and enjoy.

  • you're really pretty with a pipe. hope we could chat sometime. :)

  • La Femme D' Argent! Glad to see another pipe smoker who enjoys the wonderful atmosphere of Air.

  • @tehwalru5 yes Air is the best!

  • that's what I got on the music... Air... nice chill music...

Welcome to the Youtube Pipe Smoker's Community

  • I could be wrong, but the music you're listening to sounds like Air. Very beautiful pipe -- enjoy!

  • @BriarSire You're right it is Air! It's good pipe smoking music. :)

  • @J0RD4Ncaroline Sounds a bit like radioheads "meeting in the aisle". I smoked a pipe as a teenager now in late 30's starting up again, wanted a calabash but too expensive at the moment.

  • I recommend getting a straight Peterson as it doesn't collect moisture as the bents do. I find them much easier to maintain and more enjoyable. Does the Irish Sea series get really hot on the outside? I've got a racing green and a killarney series that are glazed pretty heavily and seem to smoke hotter then those that are more of modest finish.

  • @BoldODonahue Yes I do find that my pipe does get hotter than i would like. I just have to take my time between puffs and draw slow and steady to keep it cooler

  • You can purchase a 3 in 1 pipe tool for just a few dollars, which works fine. In a pinch, a roofing nail works even better than a screw as a tamper. lol

Porsche design make an interesting 3 in 1 tool, but pricey at about $150. Doesn't work any better than the above $4 tool, but it's kind of a cool industrial design.

  • While I would be considered a light occasional smoker, I'm more a cigar smoker. Therefore, I tend to prefer some of the stronger pipe tobaccos over the aromatic styles. While difficult to source here, in the US, many speak of a blend called, "Billy Budd", which is a full flavour tobacco, with maduro leaf. If you enjoy cigars, that might be worth a try. It's reasonable too.

    Take care, and enjoy.

  • I beg your pardon ;) I guess you are a red head - my monitor makes you look like a brunette. None the less - you are so cute and dreamy puffing your dark glossy aromatic pipe. *wink* Keep your videos coming. Thank you!

  • Try Signature from W. O. Larson, it is one of my favorites. A really nice aromatic.

  • Try McClelland's Frog Morton series. My favorite is On The Town subtitled, "Frog Mortion formulated this...for his evenings at the opera."

  • Very pretty love brunettes smoking pipes! Wish more pretty ladies would smoke pipes. Your pipe is very very sexy in your mouth. I especially love the pipe clenched in your mouth while you puff it. Keep the videos coming! wink ;)

  • My hair is actually red. haha!

  • You look great and love your voice! Check out our pipe videos for some pipe tobacco suggestions. Lady Y recently tried an Irish Creme tobacco that was very smooth tasting and kept lit rather well. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you, Caroline.

  • great video!!!

  • Good luck with the hobby . You will enjoy it more and more , and also you'll keep learning . God bless , michael P.S.- try smokingpipes or pipesandcigars or marscigars or cupojoes . all good web sites . Cheers and Shalom

  • If you wanna try a flake tobacco but still wanna stay with aromatics, try Vanilla Cream Flake from MacBaren. When you are ready to give English blends a whirl, try some Frog Morton by McClelland. Its kinda an Aromatic/English crossover as its not to heavy with latakia. I can highly recommend a Peterson System pipe. I have one and it smokes like a dream.

    -Doug

  • redheads are hot...a pipe smoking redhead is hotter but a redhead smoking a cigar will be the hottest

  • awesome that your making vids. Keep em coming. Have you started moving into oriental or virginias yet?

  • That's a sexy REDHEAD, and that pipe looks sexy in your mouth, you are so hott, i love redheads, but you are my dream gurl, i would so get with you, you are in my dreams! <3

  • Is that what you wee thinking of when you bought me this pipe? :) and DAMN RIGHT I'M YOUR DREAM GURL!

  • Nice pipe

  • Congrats on your first pipe video and welcome to the YT pipe community!

  • so sexy! really thanks for the pipe video... can u make a cigar video?

    kisses

  • Thank you for posting this! It's great to see a lady enjoying a pipe.

As for a Peterson System pipe...it does not guarantee a dryer smoke. I have one (Standard 309) and it does gurgle on me. I do smoke a relatively moist blend in it and I am a drooler, so I have that going against me.

Keep up the great work and happy smoking to you and your boyfriend!

  • Welcome to the community.

As for the equipment or accessories, try your local tobacconist or any online tobacco shop should carry a wide range of accessories.

    Happy smoking.

    Cheers!

    Michael

  • A beautiful redhead who smokes a pipe! My prayers have been answered. You seem to be getting the hang of it all you need is just a bit more practice. Your pipe will stay lit longer if when you first lite it you pack the bowel firm but not tight. Use a pipe tamper. Also take deeper puffs as your liting it. As for your next pipe I suggest a churchwarden. churchwardens give a cool dry smoke, enhance the flover of the tobacco and reduce biting. Really looking forward to your next pipe video

  • Haha! I'm flattered. I have been looking at churchwardens actually. I saw a video recently by rehfeldttw and he was smoking a Butz-Chopuin Amadeus churchwarden that was stunning. Peterson also has some long stemmed pipes that have a racing green bowl that I would love to have.

  • Well I'll be happy to make a donation If

you promise to make a video :)

  • just curious do you smoke cigs and 420 as well?

  • No 420 for my thanks. I do on occasion smoke clove kreteks *now called cigars* ad I don't usually smoke cigarettes.

  • your smoking is my addiction. Beautiful!!

  • Another fine addition to this community,,thanks for joining aboard hope you will enjoy being here with the brothers and sister of the briar to share the pleasure of tobacco pipe smoking

    cheers

    ahmad

  • Welcome to lady pipe smoking. I have smoked a pipe since my teens, and have some 60 odd pipes now. You should join Ladies of the Briar yahoo group. Keep it up.

    Gilly
