Tomic has brilliant change of pace with his ground strokes, he demonstrated this against Cilic in their AO match this year, in which he lost in 5 sets. I haven't been so enthralled in a tennis match since Hewitt V Roddick semi final AO 2005.

Tomic has a chance of making the top 50 - wouldn't go further than that. He's a half decent player at 17. But he's already bulked up so won't gain much extra strength. And he's only a few years younger than Nadal, Murray, Cilic, (played like a dog against him in R1) & Djoko - who are all way above his level.

Venus serves better than him. And Serena and Justine would run him close.

Maybe Hewitts character should be questioned? From calling the Australian public 'stupid' to his ridiculous antics Hewitt was 10 times worse than Tomic ever has or will be.Its funny how those that dont know assume and those that do forget.
