Tosh and Bunny could both sing delightfully as well...Peter Tosh was hands down the best guitar player of the three(and my personal favorite). And yes, they were simply known as The Wailers at this point until the UK promoters forced Bob into the 'front man' slot.
And why doesn't anyone talk about how vital Ashton 'Family Man' Barrett was? All those groovy bass lines came from him! Family Man is amazing!
