Hope this game does not get stale mid-way like the first one. If only this was co-op, then I could play all the way through this. EDF had poor graphics and story but it was mad fun.

-First group of recruitment missions are 'ok', imo, but I did get a little bored.

-Middle point mission is both awesome and 'meh' :P

-Later recruitment missions are awesome!

-Loyalty missions (optional, but pretty much needed if you want people to survive the end) range from the best, to just 'ok'.

-The whole race to the end isgreat

Game is great, but focuses far more on subplots than the main story. This isn't bad imo, as this *is* the middle part of a trilogy after all.

It's funny what passes as good these days at EA. me2 took less than 24 hours to beat, and somehow that's okay. What I find even funnier is that some of the fools who played me1 will line up again. EA has a lock on the stupids market.

Do you mean 'beat', as in complete? Or 'beat' as in everyone on the crew and squad surviving the final mission? I've seen plenty of people beat the game within 20 hours now, but nearly all of them have over half the crew dead. Great.

I plan on doing all recruitment, loyalty, N7, and side missions and getting every character (including the 2 downloadable ones with their own planet mission) through this, along with the DLC. That's at least 50 hours there, if I go quickly.

The lowest I've seen is an 8.0, and that wasn't even from a gaming source.

I'd personally give it a 9.2. Not perfect to me and it needs to make a sort of 'middle ground' in ME3 (between ME1 and ME2 in all aspects).

Why no 2-player co-op? This game is gets kind of boring b/c its another cover/shoot game. Like Hollywood, videogames are not original anymore. Creativity goes out the window.  N64 and the original Xbox had more unique games.

I remeber Mass Effect 1. It was amazing for the Xbox 360. I passed it but my Xbox 360 had somered ring and din't work no more. Now I'm gonna get Mass Effect but for the pc. I feel like Mass Effect is a bit of a copy of Kotor though

To this day I have yet to play a game that left me so startled at the graphics and design.....and I played it 8 years after it came out. But I didn't pass Kotor because I got stuck on that level where I'm going to meet the boss (The last battle), but I get stuck where I need some tools to turn on these generators. Unlucky I had automatic save on and couldn't go back. Kotor was stressing on the saving. Mass Effect was a breeze.

Good choice, I would skip MW2 though, I got it when it came out, its just terrible. Its a game that was made for fanboys, the graphics are better than the cod4, gameplay is the same, its full of 12 year old children, the singleplayer is terrible, and has a horrible story..

Oh well I'd skip it if I were you, unless you really want to re-purchace cod4.

The only real similarity is the movement and controlls. Other than that its pretty much exactly what a sequal should be.

The story was amazing(prob not quite as good as ME2 though) I enjoyed all aspects of it but now this long after release i still pick it back up once in a while. Spec ops and campaign were fun until after i beat it them on veteran. But i dont see how people only run into the noobs, i rarely see them. Oh well to each his own i guess.
