@JCMaster45 Carp are a little easier to hit because they stay on the waters surface so theres not much disstortion, again Tilapia are not in the carp family they are a cichlid.When they are deeper you must aim below them.

Thats a big tillapia!!!! I went fishing today and I caught about 12 of them like 1ft. I use a beetle spin or a spiner. ps my reel is dumb, it won't cast for some reason...

@frfighter25 to my knowledge, blue tilapia do not eat bass eggs. Mozambique tilapia might, but blue tilapia are filter feeders. At any rate, they still compete with all the native species for the primary food sources available in our waters, so they are a threat. I caught a few males on Sunday, each weighing over 5 pounds.

Guidant definitely does not know squat about invasive fish threatening the natural balance of Florida's ecosystems. People like him are indeed the kind that screw up stuff.

good video. I live in Apopka..and have those damn fish in my lake. I wanted to catch them, so started feeding them pond food.  Now, with a pinch of white rubber worm, we can catch 30 in 15 min, up to 3 lbs...ridding the lake!
