Roth can't hold a candle to hagar.. I guarantee you he can't sing any of hagars Van Halen tunes.. Even his classic Dave showman ship is gone...The energy just isn't there.. Micheal anthony was the harmonies behind the classic van halen backup vocals sound.. Eddie has not loyalties to an original.. MA should be the bassist and Wolfie should be a 2nd guitarist.. That would create the new VH sound..

Wolfie is killin' it on this song. After the break-down, it's all him. That high bass not strumming, synchopated in double time isn't easy to do. There's a lot of FEEL that you have to put into it. Wolfie is amazing!

i was there, when u here wolf's voice and bass in person not on same poor quality u tube video, he sounds great. i havent heard any complaints from those who saw them in person just on u tube. same goes for roth, btw for those who say roth sounded better in the eighties, wtf are were u smoking back then? he only sang half the lyrics and was drunk most of the time. i thinks those are the ones who couldnt get tickets and are trying to rationalize missing the best concerts in 20 years

You know. Classic Van Halen will always be some of my favourite music. This is not the original band though. David makes that clear every night. This is a band that is learning to play together as a live band. They just have the luxury of a Kick Ass back Catalogue and Eddie Van Halen. Seeing this makes me almost forget Van Hagar existed.
