  • No offense to the original poster because you have skill reading the music. The problem is I'm surprised you haven't gotten a court summons for raping that bar as hard as you did. This was such a XXX bar rape it was scary. -A former sponsored DDR player.

  • @XxMaNtiSaixX iknorite, cool, with whom were you sponsored?

  • admirable!

  • wou eres increible tu si saves desgrasiasdamente aca en mi pais solo esta la basura de pum it up

  • Damm! someday I want to dance like that, like you, but do not get nor to the knees, I can hardly with 4 steps, you are mmmmm Marvelous!..my respect for you ___Zenyk01___

  • This is amazing!!!

  • @gamert101 Thanks :)

  • WOW!!!!! :-) the scores and the nostalgic 5th mix. we used to have one here in israel before it was upgraded to megamix. THIS SCORE IS INSANE!!!!

  • @tapuzronko Yep, maxed out score, and TG verified :)

  • nice race too I have a high score too but it's on my old account it's the basic high score

  • @RacingGeeks2010 Just saw that, pretty cool! If you want something maxed out, you'd have to play the songs that are Yellow (Exclusive) or Green (Exclusive Unlocks) with the most steps (on Basic). Blue songs don't give any AAA bonus. I'd expect Para-Eternal and probably a long version to be a part of that equation. When I get some time, I can figure out which ones if you want (I'd have to play through the songlist on Basic to tell). Still quite impressive, anything on 5th is a little tricky.

  • Great job! I've been hoping to take the endurance record for awhile now. I've already filled out the paperwork, it's just that the BS requirements for endurance based records are really preventing me from actually breaking it.

  • @TheHeadhunter I'd keel over, haha. Which rules are unreasonable for endurance (I'm not sure what they are)?

  • @djsterf It's the rule about official witnesses. You have to have at least two witnesses watching at all times, and these witnesses can not know you and they're supposed to be people "of importance" ; I remember the example list they gave for that included "politicians and managers of local game stores". Furthermore, each witness has to do a shift of at least 4 hours. So, according to the rules, I have to find a bunch of strangers "of importance" and convince them to watch me step on arrows

  • @djsterf ...for at least 4 hours.

The other option, of course, is to have guinness officials flown out at my expense. and keep in mind, I would have to fly out a bunch of them to cover shifts, making it unreasonably expensive. it would be hard enough flying out one.

however, I do intend on pursuing this record in the near future; I've moved to Rochester where I'm currently studying Game Design and Development, and it just hit me the other day: what better people to ask to be witnesses than

  • game design professors? There's already a huge gaming spirit here at RIT and it could be such an awesome event to throw together on campus, maybe have like a BBQ and stuff while all the professors are there. i'm still hashing out ideas but it's definitely going to happen at some point. I intend to purchase the machine I've been operating in my family's arcade for years and move it on campus (I've already discussed it with Residence Life) and at that point I can really start training and moving

  • ...forward with plans to FINALLY take the record. I had originally applied to break the record a smidge over two years ago, but then I got involved with MMG9 (biggest tournie I've held so far) which took up ALL of my free time with getting all the sponsors for it and whatnot. The whole thing kind of left the record in the dust, and even if it hadn't it still would have been awhile before I could have hashed out the issues with the record attempt stipulations.

  • @TheHeadhunter Sounds difficult to try, but yeah, do it up really big and make it a fun event if you can go for it. Golly, that's a long time to play in a row, though. :-z eek

  • Is the record still at ~14 hours, or did someone else bother to take it? I honestly don't think it's that long of a time to play at all, I used to practice almost 10 hours a day around once a week or so. The challenge isn't going to be beating the record, it's going to be going on for a long enough time to discourage anybody else from trying to take it hehe.

  • @TheHeadhunter Drew Gamble went over 37 hrs, but I don't think he got it verified by any means. The TG/Guinness Gamers record may very well still be just over 13 hours. Let me check 1 sec...haha yeah, 13 hrs, 9 min, 40 sec. ummm

  • Nice. You should change your name to DJPsychola.

  • @2kstyle Thumbs up

  • You are god of timeing

  • Absolutely Stunning.

On the bonus though, I had always had this written down for years: "There are two bonuses: a Combo Bonus and a Dance Level Bonus (note: the dance level bonus is only received one time per song. Repeated plays of a song do not earn the dance level bonus, nor do songs from previous mixes (songs written in blue letters))." ... maybe I should write it in a different color or bigger font...

  • @archmiel Thanks; haha and it's absolutely stunning that I totally missed that line, especially the part saying that songs from older mixes don't give bonuses. Yep, that is indeed correct *edits description*

  • This was awesome to watch! God bless you on your future, my friend! =)

  • @Oggvaldo Thanx much!

  • haha nice job, buddy. i would love to actually get back into ddr, but all machines around me at gone now =[
