my man, no offence, but you are kinda stupid. this is the old default system for plate numbers in France: front white and rear yellow (which by the way is reflecting at night). The new system is all reflectin white (no more yellow). There are also British plates that are all yellow and Dutch that are all yellow and made out of plastic.

Google "old french car number plates" or "ancienne plaque mineralogique francaise' and tell me if I was right, honey-bunny
