  • You know, I can sort of relate this song to the Half-life series. Like the timeframe that this song would take place is in between Half-life Souce and Half-life 2 when the Combine are taking over the world and the people are becoming slaves to the Combine.

  • hmmmmmm wonder who didnt like it...........

  • epic!

brings me back to sopor aeternus - a bit. but unique steampunk feeling it has. aaa, i love this! :)

  • Jeez I love this song.

  • Damn i wish i had better headphones right now...

  • I do miss the original version you had up here, with all the clips and the original girl screaming "The devil is upon us" and such. Did it get pulled for copyright reasons? I keep wanting to refer it to people to get an idea of what Unhallowed actually is about but then remember I just have to try and describe it...verbally...somehow -_-

  • @Musemistress We took the clips out because they were from movies that came out of major studios within the last ten years, and we didn't want to chance getting sued. But I too miss them, and had a lot of fun digging them up.

  • wah! this is just so epic... its broken my face from uncontrollable smiling

  • This makes me think of the Hunger Games... They need to play this in the movie somewhere!

  • When I bought this song off Itunes, I just knew it was based off the tabletop rpg. And then I look on here and you give it direct credit, thats pretty badass, me and my friends love the setting of Unhallowed Metropolis. Keep up the good work Vernian Process

  • @jdnmassy Thanks alot! We always name drop New Dark Age productions whenever we play this live too. Funny story about all of this is that back when i was performing solo, I met one of the designers of UM at Convergence 13 in Seattle. I was so impressed with their game world, I got inspired to write this song. Three years later and it was finally finished ;) ~ Josh

  • heeey... would you mind if i used the instrumental of this for a page on my website, that is, when my website is all up and ready.

  • @sonicandmariorulz Sure, just make sure to credit us properly (and put a link to our site). Cheers!

  • @VernianProcess do not worry. i'm not one to leave things uncredited.

  • I don't suppose anybody has read the book "Boneshaker"? Its great, and I consider this and a some of the other songs from this album to be the unofficial sound track ;)

    Keep it up!

  • @Cookiecan113 Unhallowed Metropolis works well for Boneshaker, because I believe the Author is friends, or associates with the team behind the UM RPG.

  • I have mentioned that before, but you are great guys! Very original indeed!

  • This is a great song! I can't stop listening to it!

  • I and the crew of the proud Helcantha enjoy your music, continue to make the pleasing sounds. I shall be buying many albums for enjoyment, and use at camp when I set my heading to invade the RenFest this year.

  • @VindicusVore Thank you very much!!

  • You guys rock, love Into the Depths the most, kind of wish it was longer though. Anyway loving the music. I'm going to try and get the album when i have the money.

  • What sort of strange machine is that next to the airship. Great song btw.

  • @CaptainKrackers Wondering that as well, looks like a giant flying speaker? I don't think it's the machine "Behold the Machine" talks about, it doesn't seem very deadly unless the propellers fail.

  • @cookiekiller6 I'm sure it is from Behold the Machine, Anything can be deadly regardless of looks, Think bunny rabits.

  • @Demonkitsun Just look at the BONES!

  • @cookiekiller6 Pretty sure its a damn large airship as well. Or, at least I hope so! ;P

  • @cookiekiller6 To me, it doesn't look like it's flying but it's a giant mechanical worm rooted into the earth beyond the horizen.

  • @cookiekiller6 if thats the speaker... think how huge the rest must be!

  • @CaptainKrackers My friend insists it's a giant kite. I think Myke Amend (the artist) is the only one who knows for sure. The machine in BtM, refers to the Federal Reserve Bank of the U.S.

  • @VernianProcess Haven't you thought that it may be the Federal Reserve Bank's vault?

  • @AlfredoDepths I don't know how I missed this comment for so long, but it is hilarious and brilliant. =D

  • Awesome as always. But I miss the "to hell with the world, the devil has unleashed himself upon us", bit. It gave the song so much atmosphere.

  • @zakkthewyld The reason those clips were removed was so that we don't get our asses sued by whatever studio released Quills (where those quotes came from).

  • @VernianProcess Too bad :( but it’s still an amazing song.

  • Very original!

  • I love this one a lot.
