This is a disgrace for S5800 xD I had this cam long time ago and it was doing very good pics for its price ofc Your video quality is low and does not show the whole power of that small camera :D Where did you get the idea to compare thous two xD Maybe i should do an video Xperia vs SLT-a55 it would be on time x)

i really don't understand why you'd compare them :/ you'd really have to be retarded do think the phone quality one is better than the actual S5800. bought it for 90 punds. It's excelent for the price, but when you start comparing them to SLR's and DSLR's you start to notice how much better the quality can be.

I just got Samsung G600 and it makes better pix with his 5mp camera, but still I thing the Fuji is better. U just need to get use to it and learn all his options...

The phone makes good pictures too (i have sony ericsson too :D ) but Finepix is much better!!!

Camera is mor better. Phone have only auto focus and dont have white color balance. But with camera you can use manual focusing and white color balance, to take good pictures.

you would think so but unfortunately this camera does not come with a manual focus setting. But the camera is alot better than the phone

pete, actually the camera DOES come with a manual focus setting. just search the menu @ A/S/M

this camera DOES have a manual focus setting...it's the left button nea the screen. The one with the flower. the flower represents the focus. you can go from close up, to extreme close up. Check it again.

Actually Laimandhisskateboard, you are wrong, the button you are talking about is the Macro Button, and a 2nd press is the Super Macro, still using an Auto Focus setting, next time you say "check it again" make sure you are right, because you are Wrong

Images from the Fuji are much sharper, exhibit more contrast and more vivid colour. Then lens also enables a more shallow depth of field which is apparent in some of your shots and which you use to good effect.The exposure from the Fuji is better as well. Look at the 3rd last shot. The phone over exposes the sky and washes it right out but the Fuji balances it well. What is that anyway. It looks like some sort of prehistoric plant. Great photos by the way.
