I have not spoken in other languages because I have not learned them. The Apostles spoke in languages unknown to them because they received the gift of speaking in OTHER tongues. They were speaking in other world languages so that the people from other nations who were there could understand them. That was the miracle! The languages were KNOWN languages. That was the whole purpose of the gift of tongues so that they may take it with them so that other nations could understand the Gospel.

What am I being ignorant about? So are you saying Im ignorant because I dont speak in another tongue or never learn another language? I have nothing against speaking in other languanges or tongues as long as it goes by in the same way as Acts 2 and 1 Corinthians 14.

that fact that paul here mentions "tongues of angels" those are not know to man except by the holy spirit.

I want to be filled with his spirit and love, I dont care about anything else, that is my destiny. I have many times in private pray be caught up in speaking powerful words in tongues, ive experience these things to KNOW it is real. no doubt in my mind
