I've just watched this video twice and I personally like it. I don't get why other comments are so harsh. If you toned it down during the verses then it would sound boring. The guitar was holding the rythym, so you were free to be creative with the drums. You did tone it down during the solo, which was because that's where the drums needed to be more stable. You knew what you were doing. Way to bring your own creativity into this song. Forget the haters who can't realize that. 5 stars

I'm not a purist, I think that most things should be re-done, over and over. Hell you even over-dubbed the drums on an already covered song, and that's cool. The only thing is that I really don't think you went with the song, you tried to take it, and you probably should have just eased off the cymbals and accompanied.

Good effort though, props for putting it out there.
