The stuff I listed above could get it to around 350rwhp nitrous would put it above 400 and yes that along with a 3:55 or 3:73 gear and good tired on the back will out run a 03-04 Cobra in a drag race... been there seen to and back to tell the story.
I've seen little foxbody mustangs destory Saleens/Z06's/Vipers etc at the drag strip in N.C... The 302 is a much better engine then a 281... I've seen built, stroked, tubed and s/c foxbodys of all sorts they're great little cars for racing... I like the 03-04 Cobra just fine but it isn't the badest car ever made and it can be beat.

I was only spraying a 125 shot and trapped a best of 117mph on that so thats about how hard he pulled on me.
i got a 99 gt that has cai, stock manifolds, o/r x, borlas, and an x-cal tune and i put down 293rwhp and 287rwtq. so with bolt ons my 4.6 was rated at 260bhp and those lil mods gave me close to 300rwhp. i am easily pushing 320-325bhp now. get your shit together man.

Dyno numbers matter very little to me though its all about what you can do with that power. Track times are the best way to compare cars performance. And videos would be even cooler. I have many of mine posted up already....

But I find it very hard to believe a GT put down 293 with those mods considering my friend with a Mach1 had intake, exhaust, and dyno tune and put down 293. I have the same car as him, same mods except mine has a xcal handheld tune and we both put down 260-265 hp but that was on the heartbreaker dyno. BTW mach 1 incase you didn't know has the 32v 4.6 in it 'similar to' the 96 cobra motor
I have ran a 180hp shot on a stock block for dozens of passes. Stone stock unopened oil pans on a 100k+ motor so a 200 shot is easily obtainable I am sure.
I have also ran 30 bottles on the same stock engine for 3 seasons before I put a turbo on the same engine in a different car and the compresssion was still excellent.
Full exhaust (shorty headers, h-pipe, and flowmasters) and underdrive pullies on a 302; my 95 mustang, stock in nearly every other way dynoed 220hp and 270lb/ft of torque. I should have put a 200 shot on it I bet it would have loved it....

wyldfantasyx - i got a gt-40p (cobra) motor , and nitrous last year i blew it up cuz didnt have a good tune.... what do you do to yours for tune , i got all aftermarket fuel stuff , bigger altenator, and reguler tune of timing and spark plugs .... please email me and tell me what u run ..
You need a wideband o2 sensor to keep you eye on the air/fuel ratio. It cost about 275 bucks from summit its called an NGK wideband. Check out my site if you want my detailed nitrous recipe. Nitrous is really easy and fun to use if you know the tricks...

I have currently in my 88 5.0
F303 Cam, GT40 Heads 1.7 Roller rockers, GT40 Upper & Lower fully ported. Subframe connectors, Bassani with o/r H dumped.
I made 308 RWHP @5200 /363TQ @3200
GT40 Is what is on the Explorer 5.0, if you knew anything or even had a mustang you would know that explorered made 293 HP and 330 TQ to the crank.
