WHAT A RUDE AND BAD-NURTURED AUDIENCE!!!...stupid noises,whisperings,talkings,baby screamings...and the aplaude between prelude and fugue...UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
i think if you play the slow parts at the end of the prelude slower, it'll be more dramatic and doing that really makes a huge contrast from the rest of the piece. everything else is great though. the fugue is my favorite
You guys really do not understand what Allegro Impetuoso means...? It means 'fast like the storm' I hope it clears things up, so there is no need to slow down. What more, the prelude is constructed of semiquavers, another reason for not to slow down. Whatever, these are always so many people arguing on this prelude...I don't wanna join them.
gosh drives me crazy! I always start the fugue the second I end the prelude, even if they clap, I keep going... And this christmas I went and saw the mesiah... and people were clapping after every song!!! people need to learn when to clap and when not too.
you are 2 tense you need to relax your shoulders....have you ever heard alexander technique its a great techique for awarness of your bodys posture it impoves sound and movements throug good posture...
This is wrong, you shouldn't even be thinking about using pedals and you do it all wrong! Harpsichords didn't have pedals... I feel like insulting you.
I really like listening to this a lot more than playing it (same thing with the prelude in C major...) since it's so repetitive. It's actually a really intriguing piece. You had good control even though you were playing really fast. Your fingers seemed to be bent in really awkward positions at times, but that might have just been my imagination. Overall, good job. =)
Very good, but play the prelude a little tad slower, it will sound much better. Also try to start the fuge with the first two bars a little less distinct. They should be soft to prepare the rest.
i enjoyed the fugue quite a bit, although i felt the prelude was rushed.. that piece has some beautiful harmonies and a passionate melody that i felt were hard to appreciate at this speed. it should be fast, i just felt it was too fast.. but very impressive, it's a hard piece.
i think you could play better if you practiced for longer and did not have to look at your music every so often, it degrades your presentation o fht emusic, communciation with the audience, and the overall impression of the music
and get the notes perfect before you start to lpay at a fast speed, unless you were just nervous and thats why you made alot of mistakes
No es una excelente interpretación. Es sólo una versión de un estudiante, y además con múltiples errores. Siendo una de las primeras fugas de Bach que se estudian en un conservatorio, extraña que el pianista tenga que leer la partitura.
I have three questions: How long have you been playing? How often do you practice? and How long did it take you to learn that? Cause that was amazing and I want to learn it.
Very good play. I now that it's barroque period and those pieces were wrote for clavi, but even so, I think you are articulating too much, need relax more, and let bach take your soul. Let it be.
I just started working on this prelude myself and can offer a suggestion. The dynamics muddle the inner voices in measures 12-27. Your beginning section of the prelude seems faster than the 23-33 section.
I applaud your performance. Wish I could get up in front of others like that.
i cant believe people clapped during the middle...i dont think they were suppose to do that..i mean... right? its prelude AND fugue. no claps between...
well done. it's tough to play well in front of an audience and you performance was strong. work on your ties in the 6th, 7th, 17th, 18th, and the 24th measures of the fugue. it'll help with the feeling and pulse of this tune.
dada dada dada. Well. Thats Bach.

That was the fastest version of bach's prelude and fugue in C minor I've ever heard. woah...
slow down there man! Nice technicals though
MOSTWANTED417 3 years ago
There is no need for that. This prelude the faster - the better.
PegasoltaEclair 3 years ago 2
There is no need for your baseless opinion either. I happen to agree that it is far too fast for effective musical impact.

... Especially after passions. I sometimes wonder, whether they get the plot. Maybe we need signs, like in live broadcasts?
rp1703 3 years ago
I've been to some recitals where people are instructed NOT to applaud untill the performer stands up.

I guess it's because most people go there to showoff to their freiends that they are so educated... they go to classical concerts.

why so much left pedal??? you have to able to control that with your fingers!
this is not an interpretation: it's playing the notes!

play piano not with your fingers but with your mind - glenn gould

Excuse me, if he was playing with the left pedal, it would sound like a whiny cat.

the prelude isnt good.
I thing its hard playing, nervous It should have less pedal and the first note of every meter should be the most clear.
sorry.... The fugue sounds beter but still i think you re unsure for your playing and you show it to the audience

Well played..I like the tempo you chose for the Prealudium....and the fuque is nicely played onto that 4/4
the only critic is...don't look at the notes and you will feel more music...so that work will sound more like bach

Performance was fair-
need to be a little more familiar with this piece (I know it is pretty hard- i am also playing it)
relax a bit a sit up straighter- it looks better

buen trabajo! mas allá del notable error en 0:47 y que las notas se empastaron un poco, es interesante la velocidad de la ejecución.

Hi,
I think I played it 1 year, I always try to pick details and I practiced it 2 or 3 times a day.
Try to learn it in single bars. First 1 Bar, then 2 Bars and so on.
Thank you very much for your comment
