Eh, true, I may have been pushing the Allegro part especially with the Game Boy notes. I personally prefer the end of the Allegro.

As for Mario Paint, it's quite rare to find the actual SNES cartridge. The emulator ROM is easier to find, but still a bit rare. Then there is Mario Paint Composer, a computer program simulating the composer part that allows sharps and flats. Just search engine that, and it usually pops up first.

Fan made ones are ones made on the computer with a thing called case maker. This is how they could also make all those pheonix wrong videos or those parody videos. I can't say for sure though. But, they have to get those sprites somewhere.
