long live mahvash. my father spent many sleepless nights going to her concerts. just wearing sleeveless and not covering her hair was a revolution. she really paved the road for many female singers to perform. may her sole rest in heaven near my father and uncles.

She came from a poor family and was singing for poor ppl as well.Sha was not a great singer but at that time she was so called a popular singer.She had a tragic life .Nothing to make fun her life or of her face(some stupid person writes if she a man or a woman).Wake up and get yourself a better life.Look at your parents,you will see Mahvash on them!

The western looking lady at the bar, was the type that the young men of the 1960s and 70s preferred, with western features, slim and trim, and what they used to call "bee-namak" (plain looking). Mahvash was killed in a car accident, driving a VW, "the coffin on wheels"
