Oh very nice! I wish my Aussie was that calm. She is very intelligent and a quick learner, but has a hard time staying focused long enough to get the "heal" command down. She still can't walk off leash with me and pulls on the lead, and she is already three. :/
She is still a wonderful little girl! Love your big boy aussie! He is so plushy :D
@WildWolf419 how much time do you spend training her? My aussie in this vid is about a year old at the time this was taken. He had been going to obedience classes with me twice a week since he was 2.5 months old. He is a hyper crazy little guy but lots of training can control that.
Thank you so very much for your quick response and answer! Where in the heck can I purchase " fresh dehydrated chicken liver?" This is new to me...lol
I go to the meat department and buy a one pound case of chicken livers, then I wash them drain them and put them in a microwave safe Tupperware dish and stick them in the microwave oven for 5 minute intervals until they stop "popping" you have to drain the Tupperware dish every once in a while. It can take up to a half an hour depending on your microwave oven.
this is so wonderful of you to have helped me! Believe it or not, today was the very first time I even watched a YOU TUBE video of anything, and here I found someone to be so helpful. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas. We hope to receive our Aussie very soon.
After they stop popping every minute taken them out and wrap them in paper toweling, stick them in a ziploc baggy and put them in the fridge. After few hours take them out and cut them into pieces. That's my recipe for yummy smelly treats that the dogs go crazy for.
The softer, the smellier, the better. And don't be afraid to start training from the first day you bring your dog home! I have used BilJac treats but my favorite (and my dogs favorite) is fresh dehydrated chicken liver.

@puggychu little one is a Papillon, they are bigger and have longer coats than chihuahuas and Papillons are always mostly white.

Thank you, It does take a lot of time and dedication on the part of the trainer to train a dog well. But I enjoy a challenge.
