@timfischer Neither do I and I am Stevie Nicks fan. However, I think the OP is making a play on the 1978 rumor that when Imaginary Lover first came out, one radio DJ accidentally played the record back at 45rpm and the that resulted in the vocals to sound like Stevie Nicks. Apparently many radio fans called in to ask about the new Stevie Nicks song. While that MAY be true, one flaw in the above demonstration was that the OP used a pitch control instead of switching to true 45rpm speed.
Yeah, I'm going through all the songs I've downloaded, which happens to be around 6000 songs. Anyway, it's a pain in the ass because not all the songs have the correct artist(s). But, I can't bitch about this one 'cause I totally thought Stevie Nicks did it too. LMAO
Someone burned me a cd with Stevie nicks songs on it years ago and this song was on there...and I always thought it was Stevie...I did think she sounded kind of strange...but I thought it was here...lol...thats crazy.
I actually downloaded a full copy of this done without interruption and because it DOES sound so 99.999% like Stevie doing the song, I just kept it and actually added it to one of my "best of Stevie" cd's. Though I knew what it was it still thrilled me to pretend she had actually covered it. Why she never did, given the obvious wonder it creates I'll never know.
if you go see them now, that is how fast they play it, they are down to just an original keyboardist, how lame!! You have a great observation on the Stevie deal
You need to speed it up a bit more to make it sound more like Stevie, cause I've done this trick before with the exact same song! It's very weird how much it sounds like her when you alter the pitch.

ELO "Telephone Line" @ 33 + Dolly Parton when played @ 45.
Also, Bonnie Tyler's "It's a Heartache" @ 45 + Bob Seger when slowed top 33.
So get to work on these, and then invent more!!! - 1b2s

It sounds like Stevie in a few spots. However, the best thing is to hear this song at the fast speed.
