Oh, I forgot to mention that Andrew Baterina did a piece in Body Rock, this year, to Sarah McLachlan's Arms of an Angel. I think you're really on to something here. The best choreographers are not limited to genre. They can express their feeling of music to any song, no matter what it is, as long as they feel it.

Mari Martin is my favorite dancer. She's the only that posts vids of not only hip hop, but of other styles. Or more specifically, songs that aren't really hip hop. She has so much swag, yet can be elegant, and other times just show emotion where its needed. Quite honestly she's is the most unique dancer i've seen. From her choreo to alicia keys, junior boys, yeah yeah yeahs (which is an indie rock band), and mika. she's the only dancer ive seen post vids of different musical genres.
