  • I just had a thought - Guy Fieri's "schtick" charm appeal character is that he's like the son of a gangster, right? OK, I clearly remember the basis for Emeril's appeal charm schtick character was he was like a mob chef, right? My thought is what is Food Networks obsession with the mafia? Is it their idea of what makes somebody dangerous but in a safe and acceptable way? How many Italians are in green light positions at Food Network?
