Thanks, Jen. I love this song. I gotta say, though, I am severely hampered by not having a steel string guitar. All I have is a nylon string classical guitar. Because of the body shape I can't hope to play the riff, and I can't get a good pull off anyway. When I get some $ together I'm gonna get me a guitar and an electric. Cheap will be o.k. for now. Right after I pay the mortgage and the utilities and the boys' college expenses and the cable and the water and the taxes and the... :-)

For those struggling to do the pinky stretch, i find you can just play the bottom strings and leave out your ointer finger, with only a slight loss of sound.
