You get the Quake Medallion from the Zora in the circle of rocks at the Lake of Ill Omen in the Dark World (same area where Zora's Lake is in the Light World). See Part 22 if you want to see me getting it. You get the Ether Medallion from the stone tablet just west of The Tower of Hera on Death Mountain in the Light World. You can see me getting it in Part 20 of the walkthrough. You need the Book of Mudora & the Master Sword to get Ether.

Quake & Ether are both magics that you can use to kill enemies. Quake is also needed to open the entrance of Turtle Rock (you'll see the symbol of the Quake Medallion on top), which is the 7th Dark World dungeon. Ether is needed to open the entrance of the 6th Dark World dungeon, the Misery Mire in the Swamp of Evil (you'll see the Ether symbol where you have to use it). Ether also temporarily reveals invisible walkways that you'll encounter later on.

I haven't beaten this game in like 4 years but I just got that heart piece on my 8th try with 1 second left. I only spent around 200 rupees since I made back almost enough to cover the initial 80 every time. I haven't beaten this game 100%(as in all hearts items ect)since I was around 8 so i am going for it this time. Wish me luck!

The Ether Medallion is found west of the Tower of Hera on Death Mountain. Once you have both the Book of Mudora & Master Sword, use the Book to read the tablet you'll find west of the Tower of Hera & you'll get Ether. To get Bombos, go to the Dark World version of where the guy standing by the sign in the Light World. To get there, go west from the Swamp Palace (Dark World Dungeon #2) from where the sign that reads Swamp of Evil No Entrance No Exit is. Go to the dead end.

You'll see an area lined with purple stakes on the ground. Use the Magic Mirror in that area & go to the Light World. You'll be on top of a ledge. Go west on the ledge to where the Desert of Mystery is. You'll find a tablet like you did on Death Mountain. Use the Book of Mudora to read it while having the Master Sword and you'll get Bombos. You can see how to get the Ether Medallion in Part 20 of my walkthrough & the Bombos Medallion in Part 31 of my walkthrough.

The Mad Batter. He reduces your magic consumption so you use less magic every time you use an item that depletes your magic meter.

You need the Hammer first to pound the stake to the ground. Then jump off the ledge & fall into the well and enter into the north room. Use Magic Powder on the bowl statue and the Mad Batter will appear.

The circle with the lightning bolt in it is the Ether Medallion. You get that from a stone slab on top of Death Mountain just west of the Tower of Hera. You need the Master Sword & the Book of Mudora.

The thing to its right (if that's what you're asking about) is the Quake Medallion. You get that from the Dark World equivalent of Zora's Lake (the area where the Waterfall of Wishing is located in the Light World). Throw something in the circle of rocks you see there.

I think you're referring to Titan's Mitt. That's in the Thieves' Town Palace (the 4th Dark World dungeon). It can be seen in Part 42 of this walkthrough.

the ether is in the water where you would go to get the Zora flippers. throw something in the middle of the rocks. the Bombos is near the 2nd palace in the light world. basically what you have to do is go to the dark world and look for a bunch of pillars that you can knock down with your hammer. use the mirror there and you'll find the Bombos medallion place.

Did you finally get it? It's randomly placed. Sometimes you can get it very quickly, other times, you need to try many times.

Ummm. I feel stupid for asking this, But i'm at the part where the fortune teller is telling me to go into the well by the swordsman's house. Basically what i'm wondering is where do I get the hammer so I can smash the peg thingy?

Oh, you need to go to the Dark World for the Hammer. Have you beaten the Tower of Hera yet (or basically have you gotten all 3 Pendants of Virtue)? Once you get them, go get the Master Sword in the Lost Woods (you can also get the Ether Medallion just west of the Tower of Hera once you have the Book of Mudora & the Master Sword). Then go back to Hyrule Castle and destroy that fire bat thing and go to the part you couldn't get to before. Beat Agahnim & he will send you to the Dark World.

Yes, the heart piece is at a random spot in the digging game.

What do you mean by 100% of the game? If you mean get everything, then it's not that hard. Your item selection screen should be full (there are 4 magic bottles total). You should have 20 hearts in your life meter. Your magic meter should be set at 1/2 after you meet the Mad Batter (meaning that when you use magic only half the amount gets used compared to before). Also get all the crystals from the Dark World.

Thank you, I have 2 more simple questions though. To the direct left of the spot on the temple of power where you get the silver arrows and lv 4 sword is a hole surrounded by 2 statues, what is in here and how do I get in? What are the bugs in a bottle for?

Oh, you mean the Pyramid. That hole is an exit in case you fall down into the pit while battling Ganon later on.

The Good Bee in the jar can be unleashed on enemies & it will attack them. It can be recaptured with the Bug Catching Net. It's useful in one particular cave close to Lake Hylia (the one west of it & SE of the prairie that you have to bomb).

The Hammer is in the 1st dungeon in the Dark World (the Palace of Darkness). It's needed to get access to the rest of the Dark World along with allowing you to pound several other stakes/pegs like the one preventing access to the well in front of the Smithy's shop. The Palace of Darkness is located in the same area in the Dark World as the East Palace is in the Light World.

No, it's actually good. After he zaps you, you use up half the amount of magic you did before. So he doesn't take away half your magic or any for that matter.

Part 20 of the walkthrough shows where & how to get the Ether Medallion. The item above the Quake Medallion is the Magic Powder. Part 9 of the Walkthrough shows where to get the Mushroom that Link needs to give to the witch to get the Magic Powder (which is seen in Part 12 of the Walkthrough). So Parts 9, 12, and 20 will show how to get these items.

Haha, that's my favorite sign in the game. You need to use the flute to enter the Swamp of Evil. Have the bird take Link to the southwest location (in the desert on that ledge) and you need Titan's Mitt to pick up the heavy (dark) rock which will expose a transporter to the Dark World. Just step on the transporter and you'll be in the swamp.

Congrats! It was pretty damn hard to figure out where some of the stuff was when I first played it. That heart piece hidden in the digging game was a tough one to find. I remember it took a while for me to figure out that I had to pull (instead of pushing) on that statue in the Skull Woods Palace.

You made a good choice to give the classic games (SNES, NES, etc) a try. There are so many good ones to recommend.
