i got trail camera photo of mountain lion behind raymondville corner store on rt.56 beleive it . mountain lion my pic is of a full grown 4ft at back. they are here and populating
looks like a large house cat, however i too have seen a extremely large cat on rt 37 on the bridge above the grasse river. it was large and tan with a very long tail, it was no fox, it was close to the size of a medium sized dog.

Great proof that there's big cats in NY, saw one on the catskills this summer and people laughed at me because i had no proof...
p.s. don't even think of bringing this to the DEC they will tell you there's no big cats in NY.

Have not seen it since! All I can say ,is it is not a bobcat seen them,not a coyote and certainly not somebodys house cat!
