hey i aked some lady at the att store if you need a data plan and she said only if u want ur phone to work right. she said u couldnt use the internet and stuuf like that. will my phone work when i get just with not the internet?

the data plan will allow you to go on the internet, use e-mail, etc. you do NOT need to get the data plan, but (of course) AT&T recommends it. if you can, go to the coorperate store and buy your phone. they do not add xtra crap to your plan like the regilar "authorized retailers"
