I'm surprised that you have a video of Naomi Klein, who is a staunch anti-corporatist and pro-corporate regulation while being for Ron Paul, who is anti-corporate regulation and thereby pro-corporatist in that sense. In a poll for GOP candidate they listed Fred Thompson as the leader and Ron Paul in second, but get this Fred Thompson at that time had not even declared officially that he was running for prez. The Congress is just okays the money for the Military branch and for the Presidents use of Military for U.N. Operations like the One in Iraq, and it isn't their job to tell the Pentagon or President what to do as far as their job. Putting the "get out of Iraq by xx" in the Spending bill was nothing more then a political play and wouldn't have ment jack shit even if Bush did sign it. The pentegon has no intention of leaving as 9 of 14 bases are permanent.

nope. Just setting a "get out date" ammendend to a spending bill is like putting "and if you sign this, flowers will sprout out your ass" on a credit card slip (not going to happen). Main problem is that 9 of 14 bases are permanent in Iraq and they are our "new allies" so there will never be a full pullout, and even the Democrats know that unless they don't know how to read the Petegon specs on the Base costs.

crap. the so called "profit" is 10 cens a gallon after heavy Federal Subsidation cause it costs $5-$7 to refine a gallon of gas and if you read the gas pump almost alll of it is taxes by state,federal, and city govenments so the Gas station owners profit 1-2 cents a gallon..if any (Most depend on their store or automotive repair to make money)

No. Oil is a volume business. it's billions of dollars at 10 cents at 10 a gallon at a time ONLY, and it's Federal goverment taxes, State governemt Taxes, and County Taxes that will be lost if People are willing to break away from the Fossil Fuel Dark Ages that the governments benifit from the most.
