AdHoc Party is an application for PS3 that allows you to use the AdHoc function on a PSP to play games over the internet using the wireless capabilities in some PS3 models. You can get an English version at the Hong Kong Playstation Store at the bottom selection. Not all games will work, and since they are not from your location (ex: USA) it is very unlikely that they might have the same UMD that you have. Hopefully, they release it in USA soon!

To play online you need a ps3 to a wired internet connection and the psp. sounds unfair but you can always buy this router adapter witch i think is cheaper than a ps3 i think it's called x-link kai or something

@supermal112233 both. You download it on your PS3 and it allows you to play with other people. Most useful with games that don't have an infastructure multiplayed mode like MGS Peace Walker.

this is an a fail. Newsboy is right, it is 2010, NOTHING with internet capability in my house is wired exept for the computer itself. i've been wanting something like this for so long just so i don't have to get a bunch of my buddies around to play adhoc games. PS3, it only does everything, exept ever cooperate correctly. It apparently can only send out one wireless signal at a time. sending one to the computer to set up the adhoc party. but it cant send one to the psp. i like my xbox better

And you can't have a usb cable hooked from the ps3 to the psp. You would think that might solve the problem, but no. You HAVE to have a wired ps3 connection. So omega gay. ps3 developers might need to consult with their consumers a bit before creating a downloadable turd. to get this for the US all you do is type in Adhoc party in the search box for the store and it pops up dl it and enjoy (make sure you have a wired connection)

Ok, I have a wired connection with my PS3, I'm using WIFI with the PSP. I have the PSP with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in the online lobby and I am still getting no where. Ad Hoc party still won't find my PSP. I am running Custom Firmware 5.5 on the PSP. Could that be why it isn't working? Any ideas?
