I wonder why Karen Black was billed first. She doesn't have nearly as much screen time and her character isn't as important as the others. The billing order should be like this:
i went to a catholic hs and during my freshman year (1977--78) the student body was shown "family plot" in the gym. no one in the faculty had screened it beforehand and it contained a lot of salty language, which wasn't expected from a hitchcock movie. needless to say, the nuns and faculty were embarassed and the kids loved it! wonderful movie, great memories.
@Tfirmin001 Me 2..I saw it in the theatres back in 1977 i was twelve...fell in love with it...I have it on dvd and like you i watch it all the time, never get tired of it...as far as im concerned it's a cult classic!!!

This was the first Hitchcock film I saw, it is brilliant just like everything he did, a great way to end a great career.
