It's sitting in a cage. If there's one thing that wild animals hate more than anything, it's confinement. They've never experienced not being able to go where they want. Secondly, considering the terrible conditions you have it in, it's like lying on mesh, not comfortable at all. Thirdly, it's never had something like you or your camera up close to it, so it sees you as a threat. And finally, yes it could tear you up, those things kill animals over five times their own weight.
@skaha77 If it didn't have canines inside a jaw meant for suffocating small deer, I would agree with you. If it got its mouth near your neck, you'd be in a world of shit.
How would you like to be caged , Looking at the soars on this poor babys face he/she is not happy and will someone put something soft down for the feet so they do not get infected .

That is an anxious, hurt looking kitty you have there. What happened to his nose? At risk of sounding pretentious and critical, why do you leave the cage's bottom uncovered? It's pretty painful to sit/walk on.
