What do they do while they're there? Gather intel, simply put.

The Air Force is first to fight, respectively; they go in and blow the hell out of everything, bombing days and sometimes months before anyone else goes in.

No there isn't marine rangers. Its Army ranger and Marine recon. Marines specialize in infantry and are usually the first to fight however Army rangers and Marine recon go in before main forces deploy. They handle more delicate missions and tasks. Someone I know told me that "the government is the most inefficient business", or something similar to that. There is no motivation to improve. The government also makes no income-- it feeds off of taxpayers. Look at senators-- they're the one's choosing their own salary, not us.

the navy had marines aboard they werent the best fighters. the militias were the ones who rid our colonies of the british forces. second the marines do not trian th elongest they just put all their troops through infantry school. army infantry is the exact same. in the army you go on to AIt which is job specific. the marines just make sure eveyrone goes through infantry school and then ait but marine infantry and army infantry are the same thing. infantry marines do not compare to army rangers
