I ride an 07 Zx10r special edition, in a crotch rockets riding position...leathers are horrible...i stick with my jeans and t-shirt and a helmet...sure it adds to your "safety" but whats safe in the first place when your riding a two wheeled machine made for speed that you have to balance on two wheels. even with leathers on you could die doing the speed limit...i take my risk happily...and he is riding how he feels comfortable...

Even on hot days I wear a leather coat, riding gloves, and of course a full face helmet. Don;t know about you but june bugs hurts like hell at 75MPH!!! I've heard things hit my helmet on the highway that would have caused me to bleed and possibly worse. The risk isn't worth it. We don't have a helmet law here but the first time I heard a loud thud on my helmet I knew I'd never go w/o it again. If I know I'm gonna be on the highway a lot I also wear the leather chaps/boots.

its funny how everyone always lectures motorcyclists to wear all sorts of protective gear. ive been riding for about 3 years, and ive encountered probably hundreds of motorcyclists out on the road. out of all of those guys, ive seen maybe two of them wear a one piece suit.

-The rider needs to focus more on what he's doing, improve on body position on the bike, choose better lines when doing a corner...I mean this as a positive criticism.

-The rider need to use full gear..the ZX10R is an waesome bike with awesome performance...you need to ride safe.

I have owned the 2004 ZX10R...

in 2002 Suzuki bought into Kawasaki for 40%. 2003 was test year for ZX10R. none sold...

2004 the first year sold and BEST OF THE BEST OF SUZUKI AND KAWASAKI ENGINEERS...EVER!!!

2004 & 2005 are the same exact bike!

the end of 2005 Kawasaki bought Suzuki out of their 40%, and the ONLY bike EVER to come close is the 2006 Suzuki GSXR...

Engineers said this bike will "KILL PEOPLE" due to TorQue, Power, & weight.

Nice Video man I own a ZX10r 04 and have ridden all other major brands in 1000cc class and i would say that the zx10r is the funnest to ride because of its extreme power which is not in sync with the chassis which gives u a bike thats very unpredictable at times thus I call this fun.....

Another point id like to make...wwe had to go kinda slow, coz the car wasnt hundred percent. Needed some tuning and suspension tweaks. Im going to upload some other vids that should give you guys some idea of how my stepdad can ride. Not boasting or anything, but riding a bike PROPERLY isnt exactly easy. Both are equally good...2004 models however, I personally would go for the ZX10R, simply because it is much better looking than the other 04 models and because of the great performance. The new Gixxers are great bikes though...so if you can ride well, the 04 ZX will give you more of a thrill. If you are looking for a more linear, steady power delivery, go for GSXR. The Kawasaki accelerates like a mother after 8000rpm...but before that its..uhm..manageable?Im not an expert though,just my opinion.

For your info, we are not bloody Yanks. We come from SOUTH-AFRICA. As for the turns and twists down country lanes, thats coming up. This is just a trailer, as i said in the descriptions. As for the leathers: those jeans my stepdad was wearing are kevlar, because he happens to feel very uncomfortable in leathers. We happen to know alot more about bikes and biking than you guys give us from SA credit for. I will remember the leathers next time special just for you:)
