Wow - "90 degrees is cool" - where is that? I've lived in Breckenridge since 1997 and think I might have seen 90 degrees, maybe once, maybe twice. 89 a few times. 91, never.
Estes Park is quite similar to Breckenridge, as far as scenery, and the town. Instead of a ski area, Estes Park is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park.
We usually get our first in early September - melts quickly. In first half of October we usually get 6-8 inches in one storm; then we're off to the races!
Thanks, Montana gal! You remind me how lucky I am to live here. As they say, "If you're lucky enough to live in the mountains, you're lucky enough!" We love our little town.
Yup. We normally get around 300 inches of snow at my location. Snow doesn't usually start until September, but statistically it could snow any day of the year - even on the 4th of July parade! It's usually sometime in November before we get snow cover that lasts until the snow melts the following May. Great place for a ski area!

Not too cold - As I recall, I would say it was maybe 32 degrees F or so early in the morning, then warmed up to around 50F later in the day.
