Fair and square.... The track was just not tractable enough for the 7 this time.... although 5 is getting very very competetive. There is now no difference between a 5 and a 7 shell at all. If you put a very very well built 1450cc engine (5) against a class 7 (perhaps same shell, but with an 1100 bike engine) It will be close on the right track.
Liam, the guy is not a cheat - the problem seems to be that you don't know or understand the rules. There is a MINIMUM engine size (but no mention of power output) but no maximum. If you have any doubts you need to look at the NASA rules on their website.
Grippa, the way he drives a Class 5 I doubt he'll need a class 7! Great to see a car & driver where it all just comes together - I don't know the guy but the race was just soooo entertaining!

The Mini has (I think) a 1394 engine and the other has a 6 litre Chevvy engine - size isn't everything!

i thought class 7 was unlimited saloons, so you could go crazy with power. I havent been for a couple of years. If there is a limit, what is it?
