Albon2 by all means go by your local shop and do that and ask a ton of questions .. Im not being one sided at all just so you know . I have shot many markers and all i can say I really like planet eclipse . I also own a Dye DM8 as well great marker but needs a lot more maintenance has alot more o-rings ect plus Dye markers do use more air then ego's as well I have noticed after I install the plank kit on my SL94 I must say it shoots just as smooth as my dm8

If you were referring about maybe a Luxe which is made by smartparts and Luxe DLX ...I would consider it because it's a great marker the only thing that kinda of concerns me at this point are the rumors that are floating around about smartparts being in financial trouble and the rumors of going out of business .That would be the only thing that would be stopping me from getting one at this point .

just so people know why mine has the cure 3 plus bolt its because I bought it ..it doesn't come with the SL94 the SL94 comes with the Regular cure 3 bolt and it comes with the zick 2 kit just like the ego10 dose I just wanted to straighten that out so people understand why my sl has that bolt ... enjoy your ego's and kick @ss

I was going 2 get a Ego 10 but I decided at the last moment 2 buy the SL94 Stealth and I must say I love it comes wit a full SLBarrel kit also it comes wit 2 SL94 triggers and2 LPR caps Plus the SL94 weighs1.82 compared 2 the Ego10 weighing in at1.98The SL94 milling is so sick and the detail is awesome Plus i installed the plank kit and new barb free through planet eclipse making it just a smooth as the ego10 plus my SL94 has the cure3 plus bolt as well but u cant go wrong with either one

well ofcourse its not going to be as quiet as you would expect because of the bolt construction, you find the spool valve markers are usually the quietist. but in all honesty i own both an ego10 and a DM10, and i love my ego more, it feels better to use, the Dm10 feels to similar to its preveous models

to lizardlover--get the ego 09. its a beast and is accurate as fuck. and abotu this video...this guy should adjust his trigger sensitivity. he was probably shooting as it was set. if he tightened it up he would be shooting more paint for the effort of his fingers while he's typing. i love the 09 ego, but im soon awaiing the shipment of my 10. i would just rather have all of them. my 07 is still putting up competition with the 08 and 09. 5 days and ill have my 10 =)))

wrong, they slowed down the stroke rate of the rammer, thus making it smoother. Ego9's not bad... but only if you get the plank kit.

well yea there is teh ego 8 is much smaller than the ego 9, the reg on teh ego 9 is farther out, and they have different internals the ego 9 is made slower but smoother the ego 8 was made for speed so they are rather different

it's completely preference; the EGO is a poppit valve, the DM is a spool.

Spools are smoother but require more maintenance, but the poppits shoot faster and are essentially bullet proof.

My PMr works great, only had one problem and whats when I got an aftermarket reag and I ended up blowing my noid, which was my OWN doing.

The only Proto markers that have that full auto problems are the SLG's because they are sear trippers. I believe the 2009 PMr had a sear as well.
