  • Parker Luciani !! O_______O

  • this video is sooo radioactive! have to wash my hand...

  • Isn't it dangerous visiting in such a high nuclear infected area?

  • @Dharkhaze17 If you sat in a hotspot for about 2 weeks, yes you may have some problems, but just going in for a couple hours and being careful, no your fine...

  • @Dharkhaze17 Certain parts of Pripyat have hardly any radiation left at all. Most do have a fair amount, but the city as a whole does not have an amount that would kill off human life instantly.

  • Cpt. Price remember this

  • r nt u supposed to wear armor

  • yay go carts!

  • dude those guys are lucky they get to tacke all the mone and crap that survived for free!

  • Do you have to be 18 or over to go there?? because im 10 and i realllllllllllly want to go there.

  • What were the workers doing

  • @SUPERFREEZER98 dude..... google is your friend.... basicly they fucked up bigtime!

  • @SUPERFREEZER98 They were running a safety test in which they had to shut down one of the reactors. It was meant to be done by the senior team of scientists but they were working during the day and they wanted to do it at night so as to cause minimum disruption to the power supply. However it was the junior team of scientists on the night shift that night and they fucked up. The members of the junior team got off the charges, but the senior team got something like 10 years in prison each.

  • Lighter in hand real quickly at 4:20.

  • Im interested in going here when I get a bit older, how do I gain acces? I saw you had some papers.

  • Be sure to stock up on Anti-Rads before heading there.

  • I cannot imagine myself leaving my city thinking you'll come back but only to be told you cannot go back, not even to fetch your belongings.

  • kiddofspeed on the net is a Russian with an excellent photo documentary. Google it, you won't be disapointed.

  • call of duty 5:35 with mcmilan

  • 5:35 i believe i had somehow been there with a certain friend on a mission to shoot someone. but im not sure.

  • Walt disney, you stole my cartoon

Russia: Did we? (ak-47 loading bullet into chamber)

  • @ThePaintLooksGood i'm not sure but i think radiation destroys molecules which our entire world is make of,

so radiation destroy everthing like a nucleir bomb

  • @X20c3ntX Much worse.

  • I'd like live there

  • One of my teachers has looked into this place a lot and done a lot of studying and says that they might be able to raid it in 2525 and start over. But I have to go there

  • @ThePaintLooksGood

It has been raided continuously for any items of value.

  • @snedie69er if tourists visit the place they cant take anything with them. its a different thing if someone enters the zone illegally

  • This looks like a cool place to visit. How do you get in?

  • @Markthebagman If you are in the UK, Thomas Cook are starting trips to the area in august 2012, providing they get enough interest. Also several smaller operators are already flying punters from the uk to kiev, then there is road transfer to the area... The best one is a company called ' radiaton vacations ' who are based in Barnsley. not sure if they have a website though.

  • good video.Thank you. I'm living now in Natori-city,Miyagi-Pref,Japan. My house is distant only 90km from Fukushima nuclear plant. Outside of my house:0.09μSv/h

(γ-ray).Grounds:0.16. My kids-Schoolyard:0.23. Is this safe???

  • @guardianofmiyagi its usally best to stay as far away from nuclear plants as possible.

  • @guardianofmiyagi i would say that more than 10-20μSv/h would start to get dangerous over a long period of time (a few years), so your readings are pretty much safe

  • you move translation with pointer

  • Why don't died the trees?

  • @hafizies

and it will be for another 800 years

  • @podmizje yes! imma go there and transform into to a mutant. fuck yeah

  • Comment removed

  • @hafizies

you wont become mutant, you children will be, fuck no! xD

  • @podmizje ah crap. change of plans

  • @hafizies

most of that town wont be able to be lived in for a very long time now.

the radiation isnt enough to kill you in short durations but long terms it will

  • thats make me sad how human can be stupid....

  • i wish i could live there it looks cooll

  • @halorunescaper If you lived there you would die lmao

  • @ImRiotZzz tell the people that live there right now that then theyve been living there since it happened and theyre still alive

  • i wish i can live in those apartments all my life, go top floor, a wonderful view and balcony. 7:52 that part can be my bed

  • An aussie in pripyat....didnt expect that

  • @mattrules8900 Bloc on Modern Warfare? Yes. Bloc on Modern Warfare, according to Call of Duty Wikia and the ferris wheel on the map is Pripyat. Infinity Ward did a god damn great job.

  • Very good video - it´s so creepy the town of pripyat. It´s so horrible what happened there back then. And now we have Fukushima - when will mankind learn to use safer methods of energy use?!

  • If you translate Chernobyl into english its "Black Story"

Maybe "Black Story" continues... why yes it has sir.. yes it has.

  • cause you guys appear to be walking there like no big deal..

  • so its safe now??????? I thought it wouldn't be safe for like another 30,000 years or something..

  • im sure its safe to visit, theres no trouble. i like to go inside those buildings and watch the view, all quiet and amazing view

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

  • Better take a tour here before 2065 they are going to dismantle it :(

  • @HirachieOfSociety what do you mean?

  • New summer vacation spot.

  • Great video, thanks to Carl and Yuri(?). Interesting to see Aussies going into Chernobyl to give us an insight. Come over and visit my wife and I in Fukushima Carl when you can and do your next video, will put you guys up if you want. Cheers, Damo

  • the car at 4:40 has just finished shopping and is going home now....

seriously, what was he doing there? xD

    -Sander Groenewoud-

  • ones in my live I go there! and I totaly agree with you meine0naime :p ( no idea what he is talking about )

    -Sander Groenewoud-

  • i dont get it so once radiation is exposed it will never go away ? it just remains there forever?

  • @jason854656 it will, but very very slowly. For instance: the radioactive iodine has a half life(half life means that after that time, the amount of, for example iodine, is half of what it was) of 8 days. But radioactive ceasium has a half life of about 30 years. Anyway: it wont be safe to drink water out of the rivers there for a looong time:(

  • @xMendy22 thats so crazy !

  • усі дозіметри вивезли . ніде небачу дозиметр. прип*ять

    раніше бачив за 500 а зараз за 1000 .....

    greetings from austria

i can help you with german translation if you like austria is a neighbour town from germani and we speak the same language with a little different in austria but grammar is the same

  • What is the song when the guy played piano ?

  • @SwissElite46

The song is an old Ukrainian Folk Lullaby called Sleep Is Tiptoeing About (Hodyt' son kolo vikon).

See my other video "Yuri playing piano in abandoned Pripyat apartment (Chernobyl ) " for a longer edit of the music and more info

  • @CarlMontgomery that was cool when you just gave him papers and they let you go in did you have to get authencation or buy them? p.s please reply : )

Much appreraciated. I'll Message you with a link to the files

  • why is he filming?

    Uhm..i don't know, maybe because he has a camera ? o.O

  • Hey Carl, did you know that its almost completely safe to live in pripyat at winter because the radioactive dust is covered by snow?

  • This lady has a deep voice and a penis from messing around in Chernobyl.

  • Some people probably think that if there's trees with leafs and fruits so it's not so bad when nuclear power plant explodes. :/ well that was like hundred times smaller reactor than some today and it still would leak radiation everywhere on Earth if it would start to leak again. Btw at 4:20 the radiation actually comes through the wind shield without any problem so some of it still comes though concrete walls in the plant.

  • I meant to say tht to prizman my bad

  • pretty powerful shit.

  • bad german translation :D

  • @powaa4u

It's a machine translation. If you can help with a better translation I'd really appreciate it. I'll send you the origianal document if it helps. PM me.

    Carl.

  • @CarlMontgomery woah man (:

i know im just 15 years old but this videos is so sad /:

i mean 50000 people just to live there and know its a ghots town :(

    its really sad ....

BTW:the german translation ist ok (:

    because i m german ^^

    best regrads :)

  • Hope Japan dosnt turn out like Chernobyl.

  • @xXNoScOpEzXx1

Sadly, it will. You cannot blame anyone though. The scene inside that Fukushima facility was like chaos as the physicists tried their hardest to cool down the reactor.

  • @xXNoScOpEzXx1 HEY DICKHEAD FUCK OFF

  • @xXNoScOpEzXx1 WHAT!!! did i do???

  • @CarlMontgomery What are the coordinates for the Chernobyl Station

  • GET OUT OF HERE STALKER

  • Awsome video, i dont understand why are the chairs at the school all in the floor or broken, i guess that is because people was scared and went away moving everything quickly

  • @RoyalTZK the hell did you just say?

  • Hey Carl, is there any secret documents still in Pripyat or have they been removed?

  • @rla1978x The town has been "abandoned" for 25 years .. what do you think?

  • Hi Carl, if you was too go in this site would you get radioactive poisoning after a few trips? Is the radiation too small too cause this?

  • @rla1978x

A few days is not going to do you any damage. Have a look at the my FAQ (link in video info). Kive a better answer to this question as well as how you can organise your own trip.

  • 50.000 people used to live here, now it`s a ghost town!

  • @doffii cod much?

  • @doffii COD 4 FAN

  • @doffii LOL COD 4 NICEEEE!!!!

  • from COD 4

  • from COD 4

  • @doffii 40 cod fanboys, wow

  • @catastrovision Screw CoD..... It's all about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. :)

  • @Droogie128 Screw S.T.A.L.K.E.R...... It's all about CoD. :)

  • @catastrovision Heh, CoD can't compare with the quality. It's the same game over and over and over. I am kind of upset that Call of Pripyat left out the ferris wheel, though. :(

  • @Droogie128 Heh, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. can't compare with the quality. It's the same game over and over. I am kind of upset that Call of Pripyat left out the ferris wheel, though. :(

  • @doffii CoD 4 ;D

  • why is this radioactive ?

  • @AutumnPolitics perhaps the biggest nuclear disaster took place there? just maybe.

  • @AutumnPolitics because a nuclear reactor failed

  • @AutumnPolitics you really don't know ?

  • @AutumnPolitics are u kidding?

  • the song i dont know why add some mystery to this video.

  • i feel lame... i recognized everything from COD

  • @pixuma You are lame... for playing cod

  • To People asking about filming the people who r there don't really want cameras etc but ur aloud

  • have fun with cancer

  • @MrDjslamm You won't get cancer from being there. All the areas he went to were... Mostly safe.

  • Carl Montgomery in Chernobyl nuclear plant. Its a ironi, Montgomery Burns..

  • Carl, I have few questions, please answer if you know anything...

    1. How come noone has suspected anything has happened when they could clearly see the smokes from the plant from higher buildings?

    2. Where is all the wardrobe from people?

    3. Where are kitchen elements, like coking stoves?

    4. Who turned upside down those bumper cars?

    5. If it is intacted for 24 years, why is everything everywhere in complete ruins and chaos?

I constantly have a feeling that buildings are emptied completely!

  • @Capo2904 its ok dont worrry about it.

  • @Capo2904

    1. npp´s make smoke out of the chimney

    2. they took there clothes whith them?

3.just because they dident film in the kitchen dosent mean there isnt one

4.animals still lives there (like bears)

5.24 years without humans means that animal comes and also at the evacuation people propably paniket and got the hell out of there

i dunno all the answers but that is my answers to those question hope it helped:)

  • @djofdanight there are some people in Chernobyl the government doesn't like.

  • @killoger like who

  • @djofdanight officially nobody is allowed to live, but people do. These "resettlers" are elderly people who lived in the region prior to the disaster. 12,000 solders 150 sneak in's could be more. 5 farmer's. 1,200 scientist's;

  • @killoger oh yeah ive head about people trying to live there but do people realle resettle or do the get caught, and one more thing neitherr the noes in the video or the eldery (i presume) dosent have protective body suit? how can they survive i mean in that high radioation enviorments how can anyone survuve without??

  • @djofdanight i'm sorry to do this to you but "animals still lives there (like bears)" djofdanight. think about all the woods and not a lot of people are there so if you keep in the woods growing food and eating fish and animals you wouldn't need to go and get food. and you wont get seen.

  • @killoger i once saw a tv pogram about pripyat and there was bears and kats and dog and they ate old jam and "human" food but tell me how can you survive out there without protective suits on?

  • @djofdanight all you well need is a geiger counter people were in the dome and there were safe place to be. if you dont go in to a high radioactive areas and if you dig a hole 22cm or some thing like that there is no radioactive dirt so you can grow safe food. plus now that chernobyl is a wildlife preserve there a lot of food to be hunted only some Mutation and birth defects

  • @killoger i just dont understand the people in the video has a giegercounter and it clearly show high amounts of radioactivity

  • Thanks!

  • Why is he filming? LOL

  • Thanks for the reupload.

  • hey thanks but its not already posted?

  • Comment removed

  • Im still looking for this piano track! its awesome.

  • @marino4691

The song is an old Ukrainian Folk Lullaby called Sleep Is Tiptoeing About (Hodyt' son kolo vikon).

Have a look at the video info in my other "Yuri playing piano in abandoned Pripyat apartment"

    it has all the details.

  • @CarlMontgomery thanks for uploading this, its impressive!

  • @CarlMontgomery Wow, even Ukrainian folk lullaby's are depressing. History has been hard on that region.
