LOL Lunch control with the type s does nothing. I have an 02 very moded type s and after just a CAI and full exhaust the lunch control makes the lunch worse so props to the acura driver. V-8 are bigger and sometimes faster its graet to see the smaller engin go faster. and still get 30+ MPG and out corner them all .
@05shift a heavily modded acura/honda motor does not get good fuel mileage, what do you consider heavy mods, like a garret turbo setup?. and a FWD acura would never out corner a RWD 350Z or something of that nature.
@dpcontreras: I was thinking the same thing...this wasn't a Heads-Up race, this was a Test and Tune event. The Mustang was both faster (trap) and quicker (ET) than the RSX. I couldn't care less who got the tree...half the time at Test and Tunes guys will sit at the green for 5 seconds before they go, because they are practicing. Not to mention, launch control is pretty much the drag racing equivalent to training wheels on a bicycle (RSX).

The race was heads up-meaning that both of our lights turn green at the same time. Now- I left sooner than he did hence i had a better reaction time, and i won the race even though I ran slower. After the green light lit it took me .208 secs to react and move plus 13.83secs to complete the 1/4 mile. 14.038 secs total

check out realtime racings acuras, tsx almost always beats all comp, audi bimmer mazda and all others, they are rwd, the one disadvantage fwd has is it eats up the tires on a track faster and start to lose some traction at end of race. agree on awd v rwd, but awd makes car heavy and use more gas so all cars wont go awd unless they change engineering process drastic

In my opinion, FWD and AWD are the best. With engineering getting better. People say RWD has better handling than FWD. That's true, but since technology has improved over the years. Companies can now make a FWD feel like a RWD. Honda/Acura has just proven that, I drove a TSX and it feels like a RWD. You can't say RWD is better than AWD in handling cause that just stupid. Cause RWD can't beat AWD in handling. Audi only uses AWD/FWD in the there cars because they believe in handling for conditions

You do know a FWD, has better handling on rough conditions. Like rain, snow, etc. I think you should go to wikipedia, and find out the difference between FWD and RWD. Then you can learn that FWD and RWD ups/downs. You can't really say one sucks when you don't know the pro/cons.

Hi Ben, ok first FWD car would smoke a rwd in handaling second the drag preformance thing If i was given 10 grand to work with i could make build an ls vtec hatch that runs low 11s and mid 10s I would find a cheap eg then buy a b18c5 head and b16 bottom gt35r turbo the housing intercooler manifold etc etc then would come the Hondata tune or even chrome then with the ls i would get type r cams type r tranny etc etc and the engine would look bad as hell.
so fwd will smoke RWD in handeling wow. so every ferrari, BMW, MERC, porsche, Koenigsegg, Lotus and many other REAL sports cars are FWD since FWD is better for handeling rather than RWD

the mustang did record the faster time on the clocks and a faster speed, but other than that think of the positives, your car is newer, gives better mileage, it looks and is better, it will last longer and re-sale better, he needed a V8 to beat your 4cyl 2.4l, plus your car dosen't have any unpainted parts :) .Plus on the road almost any day I'm pretty sure you do beat him because your already in high revs where the power/torque is, and in tracks you leave him for dead with much better handling.

Wrong Jackass. Your reaction time is calculted from the time the light turns green, but your ET(elapsed time) starts after your car moves Try to follow me here. Read this slow. The race was heads up-meaning that both of our lights turn green at the same time. Now- I left sooner than he did hence i had a better reaction time, and i won the race even though I ran slower. After the green light lit it took me .208 secs to react and move plus 13.83secs to complete the 1/4 mile. 14.038 secs total

Damn this crazy -I beat a Mustang, and the Mustang guys start hatin, In my other vids I'm bustin G35 anf G37 ass, those guys are hating. Be a real man and just accept the fact that my little four banger(2.4L) 2800lb car is faster than your v8 or v6 for that matter. Honda makes great engines that make great power(for their size) My engine 235WHP 265Crank HP. all from basic bolt ons and tuning. Great engine,Great Tuning, Good parts, Great driver=13.48@101(my best pass) Simple-accept It.

dood lets get something right as a former mustang owner. 1st a acura has NO reliability issues as does a ford. acura has a nice interior, ford doesnt. 2nd inside the mustang looks like they hijacked a dollar general store for plastic parts. the mustang will constantly need work where the acura wont. its built like a beast. nothing agsint ford but lets look at some facts. and last but not least a acura is wualtiy where a ford is mediocre AT BEST. but i like the mach1's

FWD Handling is better in conditions. RWD is better handling on the tracks. You are dumbass, FWD cars now a days feel like RWD now. check out realtime racings acuras, tsx almost always beats all comp, audi bimmer mazda and all others, they are rwd, the one disadvantage fwd has is it eats up the tires on a track faster and start to lose some traction at end of race. agree on awd v rwd, but awd makes car heavy and use more gas so all cars wont go awd unless they change engineering process drastic

i agree and disagree. track yes it can be disputed between which is better between awd and rwd. fwd is worst for track. awd better for the launch but slower down the track because of the heavier drivetrain. fwd is better for everyday driving. especially the snow and ice! my z sucks sooooo bad in the snow. years ago i had a honda accord which would plow right through the snow

In my opinion, FWD and AWD are the best. With engineering getting better. People say RWD has better handling than FWD. That's true, but since technology has improved over the years. Companies can now make a FWD feel like a RWD. Honda/Acura has just proven that, I drove a TSX and it feels like a RWD. You can't say RWD is better than AWD in handling cause that just stupid. Cause RWD can't beat AWD in handling. Audi only uses AWD/FWD in the there cars because they believe in handling for conditions

You do know a FWD, has better handling on rough conditions. Like rain, snow, etc. I think you should go to wikipedia, and find out the difference between FWD and RWD. Then you can learn that FWD and RWD ups/downs. You can't really say one sucks when you don't know the pro/cons.

Hi Ben, ok first FWD car would smoke a rwd in handaling second the drag preformance thing If i was given 10 grand to work with i could make build an ls vtec hatch that runs low 11s and mid 10s I would find a cheap eg then buy a b18c5 head and b16 bottom gt35r turbo the housing intercooler manifold etc etc then would come the Hondata tune or even chrome then with the ls i would get type r cams type r tranny etc etc and the engine would look bad as hell.
