  • illuminating!!!!!

  • J.S.Bach is listening, and he is looking for you in heaven because he is so proud

of your magnific work! BRAVO! SUPER!

    貴方は音楽の天才で、神様の使者です。

    ポールモーリア オーケストラと貴方は一体ですネ。

    美しくて、素晴らしすぎます。 ♡♡♡♡♡

  • Bravo

  • favorita

  • BRILLIANT! AWESOME, Absolutely Awesome.

Its one of my Favorite Piece to Play on the Organ, and this is one of the "Best" Unique Rendition I've ever heard.

    Thanks for posting it.

Paul Mauriat, you know the meaning of Dynamics...

  • noooooooooooooooooooooooo.. -.- all the composer has done is ruined this song.. its spose to feal and sound evil.. this sounds all happy n jolly

  • Are all those people named Paul Mauriat?

  • NO.

    only the Leader.

  • Great!

  • Mi respeto para Paul Mauriat pero creo que me quedo con la version clasica.

  • Brilliant Song!

    Love it!

  • OH MY GOD, thats MR BEAN conducting! BRAVO...!!

  • oh my god, thats GREAT! BRAVO,..!!

  • Gracias MAESTRO MAURIATA. por tocar

    está música , es hermosííííííííma

    Q.E.P.D

María Arroyo Peña Lima - Perú.

  • What I find strange is how you guys are naming down Mauriat for simply covering a song in a way he liked. Really, it's just music.

  • Poor Bach... I'm sure he didn't deserve that extrange pop rock baroque homage. (By the way, only the toccata and 1 min of the fuge?)

  • WTF!! If Bach could live again... he would die again!!

  • That is truly horrible - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Truly a master piece. This song made me love classical music and it is my most favourite song. It's ashame that mainly Europeans and Asians knew him as he should be known around the world. Truly a talented and gifted composer as he got each bit right. Bravo!

  • Perfect!!!

  • Hermosisimo¡ Si Johan Sebastian Bach pudiera oir esta version de su toccata y fuga de seguro la aprobaria y hasta la bailaría

  • mmm.. although its not a bad version of the toccata and fugue... I will prefer the clasical or organo version.... Much better... specially for felling the tentions and resolutions n the piece.... plus I think dinamics here are not as good as they should be....

  • I LOVE THIS SONG,,,its my favorite song!! :)

  • for me this music in all the versions is the best classical music for me

  • mmmmm, I think I'm in love with the clasic version, cuz I don't have ears to another version.

  • rest in peace

  • As a lover Bach's brilliant music, I loved Mauriat's version.

He actually remains more faithful to the original than many other re-arrangers/composers do.

  • SHAAAME !!!!!!!!!

  • The arrangemnt didnt score well from me but he conducts how I imagine I would

  • Violin shredding :)

  • Ahh, this must be the guy who programmed all the cheesy backing beats on yamaha synths.

  • Sounds like a cheap Yamaha Synth. demosong

  • Постная хуйня

  • Thanks, Paul Mauriat. Your genious is appreciated! (and thanks checkingmail!)

  • I forgot to mention, but this live performance was done MUCH better than the CD album version... RIP Paul

  • If this was better, i feel sorry for all who wasted money on what i guess was an awfully sounding CD

  • to lohleplol - ?? - :)

  • You don't have to be rude. Your opinion is respected, but the terms are not. If YOU can do a better arrangement, do your best, but let us enjoy Mauriat's music as we choose to.

  • I never implied being rude, perhaps the caps did that. I just think that his performance on this video was a much better arrangement than the CD. That's all.

  • I disagree. The cd versio had that nice banging/vibrating sound at around the 2:00 mark here, if I remember correctly.

  • This was a much more completed and perfected version. Mauriat even admitted that. But if you like the CD version, that's totally fine. It's just a matter of preference, really. Cheers!

  • Very cool!

  • To tricofilms - thx.!

Merry Christmas to you (and to all Mauriat's fans ,really)!!!!!

  • That was fucking amazing. Bach would have LOVED to hear this! 5/5

  • a very nice variation ^_^

  • i meant it's PAUL MAURIAT, more respect, thanks

  • I've to respect your personal taste sir,but I am equally free to be disgusted of listening a musician while butchering a masterpiece -

may be he has done better but this rendition

is a meaningless exercise so far away from Bach musical message = There are a few nice samples of Bach updates on YT = Regards-

  • I respect who does deserve it on my op.=

    the same for you =

P.S. ask a classical music teacher pr a pro player about this poor remake = it's a matter of musical culture beyond pers.taste=

  • I beg to differ, I worked at Benaroya Hall in Seattle with the Seattle Symphony, and this music usually played before every showing. The conductors usually loved it.

  • I just can say - if you get what I'm speaking about (I see others do not) pls go to YT several Bach updates renditions -

    Have a nice day -

  • The thing about music is that theres a whole area of Musical Arrangments and the klass thing about this is that anyone can take a pice to arrange and make it theirs. So you see Mauriat hasnt butchered Bach hes created his perfect arrangment.

I dont even like this version much but it annoys me to see someone who has put no thought into what they are saying and creates a stupid comment which reflects their musical airs. :)

  • At last someone who doesn't consider this arrangment as a masterpiece! That's sth.-

Do not stop here...I feel you can get better!

    Regards.

  • Oh man, I can't until the Trans Siberian Orchestra does this to see your reaction. Haha! Have a nice day, too. And Merry Christmas.

  • I can't wait*

  • HI IS THE ONE OF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Totes respect.

  • Even worse than Vanessa Mae - and that's all=

  • It's Paul Mauriat, more respect!

  • He's got the respect he deserves for this silly

rendering after a JSB work =

  • Agree, he is bastardising Bach. I see no reason why this sort of "music" shouldn't be ridiculed.

  • yahhh! more respect please

  • You mean more respect for Johann Sebastian Bach?
