Releasing packs rather than single games online, making online functions better, so many different thing they could have done. A big shame and I own a PS3. They are both revolutionary in there own ways. They PS3 is revolutionizing the way the graphics look and give an amazing experiance. On the other hand, the Wii is reaching out to a much bigger audiance and makes people say, "While it's the cheapest of the 3 so I'm going for the Wii" Also, Zelda as a launch title was a terrific move in the Wii's favor. PS3 didn't have anything amazing with it's launch. I would vote Wii but both are cool.

Nintendo literally invented video gaming, if it wasn't for them, sony would be no where near where they are now. We sucks. Even the game critics are saying it's nothing more than a souped up gamecube. The PS3 is far superior. That is fact not opinion, just look at the system specs for both.
all a ps3 is, is a souped up ps2, and psx. Nothing more nothing less. Only noticeable difference is the graphics. Their controler is nothing to loose sleep over. Plus you need a HD tv to really appreciate the ps3. The ps3 would have been better off to wait until the next wave of systems comes out, seeing as HD is really expensive right now. Bad investment on Sony's part? Or a marketing gimick to try and get people to shell out more money for HD tvs and Blue Ray discs?

Launch games don't matter. Take the PS1 for example. Horrible launch lineup, yet it ended up outselling the other consoles. The specs are everything. And it is alot more than graphics. If you had any idea how these systems worked internally, you would know that. The processor (which is superior to wii) is going to allow for a larger number of algorithms and numerous other mathematical functions to process simultaneously.
What does that matter you ask? Shorter load times, better graphics, smoother gameplay - an overall improved more enjoyable experience. You nintendo fanboys need to get over it. I'll play any console, but when it comes down to it, the PS3 is just better.
Not going to enter into a pissing match here, but Wii'll see how things are in 2007... Many options are that PS3 will be like the PSP. Technically superior specs... but the Nintendo's DS has sold a bazillion times more. So will the Wii... it's pretty duh obvious, Sony Fanboy.

They are both revolutionary in there own ways. They PS3 is revolutionizing the way the graphics look and give an amazing experiance. On the other hand, the Wii is reaching out to a much bigger audiance and makes people say, "While it's the cheapest of the 3 so I'm going for the Wii" Also, Zelda as a launch title was a terrific move in the Wii's favor. PS3 didn't have anything amazing with it's launch. I would vote Wii but both are cool.

Nintendo literally invented video gaming, if it wasn't for them, sony would be no where near where they are now. X-Box 360 is exellent, and considering that there is still a few more years for it, the producers are gonna have big fun with all the little things. Still get anoid with the crowds in sports games. PS3 are getting to cocky and I don't see them with a rumble feature, they don't know how to use the graphics, and I think they released it maybe too soon.

...? The Wii's Controlling system is like a keyboard and mouse... Nunchuk = W,A,S,D + Tab, Ctrl and Wiimote = mouse1, mouse2, mouse3, etc. i TOO am a bit worried about the controller... but i just hate the standard Playstation controller... its clunky and unconfortable... screw that.. once you get your hands on it youll want to drop it.. its way too light and is ill-designed

ee, ps3 controller is like ps2 cause all persons that have da ps2 prefer that controller, and wiimote is more light than the ps3´s, so, that is o0ne of the reasons i prefer ps3, and wi is good, but for good, there is a ps3, so good luck for that nintendo´s fan boys.

all a ps3 is, is a souped up ps2, and psx. Nothing more nothing less. Only noticeable difference is the graphics. Their controler is nothing to loose sleep over. Plus you need a HD tv to really appreciate the ps3. The ps3 would have been better off to wait until the next wave of systems comes out, seeing as HD is really expensive right now. Bad investment on Sony's part? Or a marketing gimick to try and get people to shell out more money for HD tvs and Blue Ray discs?

Launch games don't matter. Take the PS1 for example. Horrible launch lineup, yet it ended up outselling the other consoles. The specs are everything. And it is alot more than graphics. If you had any idea how these systems worked internally, you would know that. The processor (which is superior to wii) is going to allow for a larger number of algorithms and numerous other mathematical functions to process simultaneously.

What does that matter you ask? Shorter load times, better graphics, smoother gameplay - an overall improved more enjoyable experience. You nintendo fanboys need to get over it. I'll play any console, but when it comes down to it, the PS3 is just better.

Not going to enter into a pissing match here, but Wii'll see how things are in 2007... Many options are that PS3 will be like the PSP. Technically superior specs... but the Nintendo's DS has sold a bazillion times more. So will the Wii... it's pretty duh obvious, Sony Fanboy.

I used to be a sony fan, and I hated nintendo b/c i thought it was for kids. i thought the ps3 would do well against wii but i guess i was wrong. sure the graphics look beter, but what are graphics without fun? quotacious has got a point. look at DS and PSP, PSP kills ds in specs.. but which of the 2 is more fun? look at the market and you'll find the answer

Also while PS3 does have them beat in graphics, load time and gameplay they dont. Its even faster than the Gamecube, which was at least 10 times faster than the PS2. Gameplay, while certainly debatable, I believe is superior to the PS3.

Let's get something straight I am not a sony fan. I was playing Nintendo long before I was playing a Playstation. If Sony came out with a machine like the Wii and Nintendo came out with the machine like the PS3 I would be buying Nintendo's console. Then you went on to say better graphics. Couldn't have better graphics with just a Blu-ray player. You know nothing. The processor is new, HDD, Playstation network, etc.
