You should hear the radio ads currently airing in Canada for Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream bars. The implication is that that people are enjoying it too much-like it was sex(without actually saying sex). There's even one with a woman implying that "that's all I hear from neighbors next door - Häagen-Dazs! Häagen-Dazs! Häagen-Dazs!" like it was sex. THe tag line is "Häagen-Dazs-pur pleasure". But do they edit those? noooo.

they changed "I feel like an aero chocolate cone" to "I feel like some of those dibs" then took out the nuts thing. That made me mad cuz I used to laugh at the commercial.
I'm glad someone saved the original version of this commercial as an example of true stupidity in marketing. This is right up there with the Tampax commercial which, after touting the new packaging strategy that included three different size tampons for light, regular and "heavy flow" days all in one carton, closed the ad with the tag line: "Tampax. Changing women's periods one box at a time." Genius.

nothing like two good looking girls wiping vanilla ice cream off their chin while hearing "easy on the nuts" - I laughed whenever this advert came on here in Canada, mostly out of surprise that the networks allowed this to air (thinking am I the only one who gets this?) pretty damn subliminal, but hey it's summertime! unfortunately the line of "easy on the nuts" has been dubbed out and the commercial remains on the air - not as interesting now
